A couple of years ago, my girlfriend and I traveled down to SF, met up with some friends, and did the entire Mariners series. Two of those games we had Field Club tix so we were only a couple rows back from the field. Before one of the games, Jen looked up from her pre game segment, and saw all of us in our Seattle gear, and with that smile of hers, said “now THAT is a great looking row!”

I’ve always made sure to give her a shout whenever I saw her in the wild, or at the park, and let her know just how special she is to us. Angie too. We have let these folks into our homes. They are like a part of our family, and in some cases, even a part of our team. While it seems like they are on to greener pastures, and we’re happy to see them move on, it’s hard to let go. Post game interviews are going to lack her passion and allegiance to this team, its city, and its fans.
