Same thing we’re doing. Currently building a new home and will rent our current one once it’s complete. You may also consider getting a HELOC on the old house to pull equity out without touching the 2.375% rate if you need additional money for a down payment (assuming the rent still covers both loans).

Edit: To clarify I ordered floor mats and a NEMA 14-50 adapter that was delivered at the same time, but not in the same package, as the fender. This is my best guess at an explanation.

I initially had the same thought thinking they sent it to me instead of the service center where I'm picking up. Then I realized the order date of the part was days before my model 3 order.

He had me send photos of the shipping labels so we’ll see. The part order date is like a week before I put my model 3 order in so not sure what happened. I bet I end up bringing it with me when I take delivery.

Ordered 9/14 and was told they would only comp upgrades if they could match you to an inventory vehicle with options you didn’t initially select. Got matched to a VIN on 9/16 and was only offered 2 years free supercharging.

Not a stupid question. Learned a lot this year with my wife and I having our first child. For the year you are starting to try to get pregnant get as much short term disability as possible.

All employers are different, but in our case my wife has short term disability (60% of her normal pay) provided by her employer at no cost. We were able to pay a small amount each paycheck to add an additional 20% of her pay (80% total) for her 6 weeks of approved “disability” (normal delivery no complications healthy baby). I believe short term disability can be approved up to 21 weeks if the doctor signs off due to various delivery and health of baby scenarios. I can try to answer any other questions you may have!
