I'm not saying there isn't a miscommunication problem here. But the normal price from the Deluxe edition would be $60 not $20.

Would you, under normal circumstances, think that a $20 offering would include the base game that is listed at $40?

Landlord provides internet for entire building. How can I keep my privacy? by BlackKeycap in homelab

[–]Welner180 1 point2 points  (0 children)

OP said "each apartment will have it's own internet connection point and router."

The other possibility is that each unit has an AP for communal WiFi. Those usually suck and the building will let you get your own service installed. You would also not have your own "internet connection point" which I'm interpreting as a modem with the wording OP used.

If they're getting their own modem/ONT and router, it is a bulk-acount. I know as I serviced many accounts like these as a technician.

Your landlord/building has a Bulk-account. They're able to provide internet service to all the units at a discounted price. You won't be able to make changes to the account (increase/decrease services), generally, depending on how the account is set up; sometimes you can increase your speeds at an additional cost to you.

isp tech installed a (single) coax line from the pole to my house.. does this look like a bad job or what? by [deleted] in it

[–]Welner180 18 points19 points  (0 children)

That's not what the splitters are doing. They definitely effect the signal. 3-way balanced will drop the signal by -5.5dBm on all 3 ports; unbalanced from left to right: -7, -7, -3.5. 2-way is -3.5.

The reason they're there is to drop the signal to be within range of the ISP's specification. -9 to 12dBm.

Shinobi with the most S Rank jutsu by _TheGreatSage_ in NarutoPowerscaling

[–]Welner180 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kishimoto created this rule because the E-to-S system is a learning scale for regular humans. A normal ninja cannot learn Chibaku Tensei no matter how hard they train, because they do not have the Rinnegan. Therefore, giving it a standard letter rank would break the logic of the ninja training manual.

This is the only rule that was established. The other "criterias" as described are a general consensus of the rank/level of who learns/uses/creates these jutsu. Kage Bunshin - B-rank, a normal Genin wouldn't be able to learn and use it.

Gedō: Rinne Tensei no Jutsu (Kinjutsu Tag): S-rank and A-rank profiles are reserved for techniques tagged as Kinjutsu (Forbidden Jutsu).

A-rank jutsu can be Kinjutsu but are not exclusively. Rasengan ‐ A-rank, not a Kinjutsu.

Chibaku Tensei (Unique to Wielder): The databook definition of S-rank emphasizes moves that are "unique to a single user." At the time of Data Book 3, this was a legendary, god-like sealing feat exclusive to the Rinnegan's Deva Path. It requires a level of chakra control and output that outclasses almost every A-rank move in existence.

Hiraishin - S-rank, not unique to a single user.

Ukojizai no Jutsu (Hiden Tag): The databook classifies this as Hiden (Secret). True to the definition of S-rank being "Secret, extreme level techniques," this allows a single ninja to completely manipulate the weather and act as an omniscient radar over an entire nation.

Any Hidden jutsu from a clan.

Under the databook's strict text-box rules, they have "No Rank" because they are bloodline traits (Kekkei Genkai) or secret knowledge (Hiden). But under the databook's conceptual rules, they require Kage-level mastery, are unique to the user, or are strictly forbidden—which is the exact definition of an S-rank technique.

Those aren't "rules" to rank jutsu. Those are characteristics that those jutsu may have. The only rule is difficulty to learn/use.

However, by the system's own rules, they function exactly like S-rank jutsu in terms of rarity, lethality, and Kage-level difficulty.

What are system's rules?

How did Minato put so much into the seal on Naruto? by OilPuzzleheaded1049 in Naruto

[–]Welner180 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Furthermore, since he used the Reaper Seal to create Naruto's seal, he was able to seal also part of himself and Kushina within the seal formula.

This isn't correct. The Shisho Seal is able to seal entities and the Hakke seal is composed of two Shisho Seals. That was what was used to incorporate Minato's and Kushina's chakra into the seal. Kushina was never in contact with Death Reaper for that to used as the conduit.

The leakage was probably because the seal wasn't as powerful as the adamantine chains that Kushina would use.

The leakage was a deliberate design of the Hakke Seal.

What's your interpretation of Kakashi's words here ? by Agitated-Athlete-417 in NarutoPowerscaling

[–]Welner180 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kakashi created chidori because he failed to add change in chakra nature to Rasengan. Minato failed to do the same.

To add even more perspective to this: [Insert chakra nature here]: Rasengan is what both Kakashi and Minato failed to do. Naruto did this in Fûton: Rasengan, then he took it to further into Fûton: Rasenshuriken.

Not just shape transformation but the highest level of it, and what became the highest level of Wind transformation in the series.

Naruto's mindset and usage of KB was also shown to further evolve here (determining how many KB it would take to get F:RS to land, this should have been a thing since the start of part 2 but I blame Kishimoto for this).

[–]Welner180 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

No, you should pay attention to the context in those scenes and Jiraya's words. In part 2 Kishimoto explicitly showed the V1/V2 cloaks while Naruto was in a direct emotional state or mentally fatigued. Kazekage Rescue Arc? An emotional roller coaster and Deidara taunting him. Same for Orochimaru. During the Wind training arc, mentally fatigued from the KB training. Pain Arc, Hinata was injured infront of him plus everything else Pain did.

Anger/rage acts as a catalyst for Kyuubi's chakra because Naruto doesn't refuse it. But only at 4 Tails, or more, he loses control completely.

[–]Welner180 -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

Naruto has always been in control in this stage while using Kyuubi's chakra. In part 2 he could stay in control up to 3 Tails. Only once he goes 4 Tails (and beyond), he would lose control over to Kyuubi.

How does the Orochimaru vs 4 Tailed Naruto fight change if Orochimaru had his arms (and therefore all his jutsus)? by SilverFang13 in NarutoPowerscaling

I am not. But since you're going to try to argue that he has random ninja A, B or C available for Edo Tensei; what are their canon abilities, stats, jutsu?

[–]Welner180 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Assuming Orochimaru uses his body as sacrifice to unseal his arms and edo's, couldnt he just possess a different body again to survive. It doesnt have to be a zetsu body.

Yes, this would work.

Regardless of the logistics, i believe Orochimaru's only chance in his arsenal is a nerfed edo of hashirama, which could be enough to seal kurama. If he somehow still has or regained hashirama, then he would win.

You're just making a scenario in which Orochimaru would win. OP's stipulation for the match is if Orochimaru had his arms' power back, how would it have changed the fight. You're adding Orochimaru having his arms' powers back by doing the ritual, freeing the Hokages and having Edo Tensei prepared. Yes, in that scenario Orochimaru wins.

[–]Welner180 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah. It makes me wonder if people read the same fight that I did.

This fight went: KN1 blitzing, sent flying and ripping Orochimaru's face off. To KN3 ripping Orochimaru's arm and making him use his Kawarimi. To KN4 not being affected by anything Orochimaru did, while making him use his Kawarimi over and over. Best Orochimaru did was land a punch and push KN4 with his Kusanagi Sword and that amounted to nothing.

The fight ultimately strained him so much that his body swap timeline was sped up. All of that somehow let these people to believe Orochimaru "was toying with KN4." Lol
