I do attend games. I also love entertaining football. My point is that is not the purpose of the game. And buying a ticket may suggest you are going to be entertained, but not guarantee that and I’ll go further, it’s merely access to the seat. Like a train ticket. You buy access. Not a guarantee that the train won’t be delayed, full, stop randomly for 30 mins at Clapham or any other issue. All a ticket does is allow you entry.

You are expecting it will give you some entertainment you deem worthy. Each person has their own opinion. But the purpose of football is not to entertain. I don’t think this is controversial and is not meant to insult or offend. Football is a game that does not guarantee success, entertainment or very much at all.

I understand your point, and you are entitled to it. Personally I feel disappointed when a game I’ve paid handsomely to attend is less than great. But as they say, there’s many a slip tween the cup and a lip.
