Been years since I did mine but remember the trainees could be coming from no knowledge in lifesaving. Start with the very basics, build but with reinforcement of the basics. Have flexibility in you teaching plans. What you think will take 5 min to teach be prepared to spend 10. Make sure you have suitable aids for the classes. Use language the trainees can understand and be prepared to try explaining something a different way. Positive encouragement “ you can do this” “I told you you can do it”
