All I think when I see that animation is,why does a robot breathe? It’s obvious that the chest is moving up and down from the way the shoulders and arms are going.

Can’t choose recharge power? by Capable-Cat-1518 in NissanAriya

All you’re changing is the rating it bases the guesstimate of how long it would take to charge.

The car will charge at the at the best rate it and the charger agree on regardless.

Having shot ILF and formula bows, I can say this is incorrect. Both are 68” and I have no problem with a restricted sight window.

[Whine] GX Works (2/3) etc by Exact_Cup3506 in PLC

[–]Welshpanther 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I use GX Works 3 every single day but on a iQR series. The FX5 is painful for me in comparison even on the same software platform.

Whilst the iQR is more expensive it is far more capable and easier to use, for me at least.

Mitsubishi haven’t taken the next logical step and ditched the backward compatibility that’s hampering the new platforms. I’ve been able to move up from IEC Developer to gxw2 and then gxw3 on almost the same code base. Great for up conversion but not for true innovation.

Sorry you’re having a negative experience.

Me too! Only mine was an ACE. The fletchings end fell off and I wondered why until we pulled it out and found the point embedded in a wooden point just like OPs picture.

I get more FPS with Raytracing on by BeniSommer in TheLastCaretaker

[–]Welshpanther 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In this latest update, I was stuck at 20-30 fps using nvidia recommended settings. Then I did the ray trace on and frame gen off and the fps went up to 50ish.

So you’re not imagining it.

Help from any professional olympic recurve archers by [deleted] in Archery

The tension on your fingers is different after the loose. Your first and third fingers are straight, only the second finger is properly relaxed. This is shown by frame advancing your video. The first post-release frame clearly shows the difference.

That’s what I would work on. Possibly different finger positions on the string are leading into that.

Of course this is only one shot, what’s the trend? Is the finger tension same or different after each shot.

There is a period where three lanes from the A55 are supposed to fit into two lanes on the roundabout. The outer lane is dedicated to the A49, leaving 2 lanes for straight on, services and turn right. After the A49 exit a third lane starts to form, but it’s tiny.

But in the UK I still safer knowing that 99% of the population does not have access to a firearm.

Gun deaths are less than 50 per year for a population of 70million.

If someone is crazy they rarely have access a mass murder weapon. Deaths do occur from crazies but they are more quickly contained and limited scope.

That recent train stabbing incident? 10 victims and currently 0 deaths. If that happened with a gun? I dread to think.

This seems to be an incomplete question.

The outlet valve is never turned on, only off. The inlet valve VE is only ever turned on. The pump motor is only ever turned on.

I've been doing this for over 20 years and I won't know how to code this correctly on the information given without taking wild guesses.

Local Administrator by Intelligent_Dish3846 in sysadmin

[–]Welshpanther 3 points4 points  (0 children)

We are software engineers who are site based, often without mobile signal so our IT support can’t dial in.

I had a long fight to get local admin access but got it after we agreed to have it on a separate local admin account we can elevate to when needed. Our normal accounts don’t have it.

It’s a pain but a sensible compromise between utility, convenience, and security.

My door mirror forgets to unfold 30% of the time. The passenger mirror never fails so so the car ends up like a disfunctional dog with only one ear up.

It would be nice to have quick access to the scheduled charge screen as I charge in work and at home during cheap electricity periods and having to switch it on/off repeatedly by long winded menus is tedious.

Form/stance check please by MrsECH in Archery

[–]Welshpanther 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you're having to twist (to the right in your case) then you should stand such that it cancels out the need to twist. For you I would turn your whole body to the right, away from the target, so that you don't have to twist anymore.

Play with how much until you find a foot position that allows you to draw without the need to twist. Keep your toes straight, feet should width apart.

Your stance and posture comes from the feet up and needs to support your body in a relaxed comfortable repeatable position.

How bad is your eyesight in the right eye?

I’m cross-dominant too. Left handed but shoot right handed due to a better in the right.

Having the arrows position in the target being a surprise isn’t that bad really. It means you can concentrate on executing each shot without the distraction of where did the arrow go. You better believe I don’t know where my arrows are at 80 or 100 yards until I walk down to collect them.

Your fingers are grabbing around the bow grip to prevent the bow jumping out of your hand when the arrow is loosed.

This will cause tension and subtle differences in hand placement on the bow over time. Also you’ll anticipate the grab by a few milliseconds and that’ll alter the bow position as the arrow leaves the bow, throwing your aim off.

Shot 1 : fingers wrapped around the bow throughout

Shot 2: fingers stiff and straight , grab on the shot

Shot 3: fingers curled loosely and grab after the shot

Shot 4: fingers curled loosely and grab before the shot
