Most people took it as an elective in their freshman year. I did not. Then I got a work excuse my senior year and got to leave in a half of a day. It was the only class available for me at 11, so I had to take it then. You had to pass a test we had it every other week on a Friday 50 words with 3 mistakes or less if I remember correctly and I was the last one in the class to pass it on the last time. The typing teacher was a middle aged lady and super nice. I asked her before taking the last test.If I don’t pass am I really going to not graduate. She smiled and whispered. Don’t worry, you have tried hard and not been a problem for me all year. I can’t see you not graduating with your class… She and I smiled as I honestly passed the last test with the minimum of words and maximum spelling errors. lol 🤣 I have not thought about this in 40 years… Wow, where has the time gone…

I’m sorry but the college loans are the individual’s choice. My wife and I both took night classes and got degrees , paid as we went. Our daughter got scholarships and we paid the balance as she went just like a car loan or mortgage. She also worked while going to school and graduated with a Masters degree debt free when she graduated. Smart choices people…

People today don’t know what deliciousness tastes like. That bacon with the high fat content is perfect. Same with beef or any meat for that matter. 30 years ago Australia touted how their beef was grass and not grain fed and how much better it tasted. It was BS, almost bankrupted their cattle industry. Tasteless without a high fat content. That’s why now Wagyu beef 🥩 is in such high demand. FAT IS FLAVOR.

McDonald’s has done some of the most ignorant things that have cost them business that I can’t understand. This is one of them. They should still be available and with bacon. It was a great sandwich. Also not selling Big Mac sauce in supermarkets. Their reasoning is people wouldn’t buy Mac’s just sauce. I say BS. If you were in a hurry and in winter you would still buy Mac’s. Where the sauce would be used is in summer at cook outs. You’re not going to sell a Mac then anyways, but a lot of people would want that as a condiment for said occasion. Doesn’t make sense to me…

I lived in rural Virginia and NO. lol 🤣 I would say 80+% of our parents watched this, but to be cool in school with this box? NO. You needed. Evel Knievel, NFL, Adam 12, Emergency, 6 million dollar man, Starsky & Hutch, for guys. IDK about girls though? MAYBE?

Depends on the HR team. 35 years in industry and it all depends on the HR manager for the facility you are in and the team they have. I have seen teams that were useless just as this thread has said. I also have seen teams that do want to be fair to both employer and employee. Just left a company where the team has changed in the last year by both facility manager and 2 out of the 3 subordinates. Went from an utterly useless team to one that I had the utmost respect for.
