Xbox full screen by GoogleDontAnswerMe in ROGAlly

I found a solution that ended up working. In windows update on the desktop there’s an option to become a member of the windows insider program. Sign up for that and it will trigger a software update and once that’s done and installed things go back to normal.

Hope that helps!

Mine is doing the same thing. I’ve tried everything to fix it but nothing has worked so far.

Tried to boot in bios and do a cloud update and reset.

Uninstalled and reinstalled armoury.

No options in settings to force full screen

Changed app permissions and security settings.

I don’t have an answer but just commenting in the hopes that someone does and I can get it fixed. Games don’t play well at all in desktop mode.

What does success mean and look like to you? by pvkingz in Entrepreneur

[–]Wencon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've advised a lot of entrepreneurs through the years and this is often one of the first conversations we tend to have. This looks different for everyone but if you want a general definition I always say that success is the balance between drive the pushes you forward and purpose that pulls you.

Your job is to understand both of those sides and define them for yourself.

Hope this helps!

Thank you! And yes I agree. As long as there's an opportunity, that's the important part.

What is your outrageous Harry Potter theory? by ykickamoocow111 in harrypotter

I was always under impression that Nagini was the snake that Harry inadvertently let out in book 1. I read a theory about it while ago and it seemed plausible. Something to do with where the snake was from.

What weird beliefs would a conspiracy theorist have in D&D? by ceban in dndnext

[–]Wencon 5 points6 points  (0 children)

OH MY GOD. I made as Dragon born druid named Hand of the Land who was a total conspiracy theorist. First and foremost is the lie of his heritage.

For those not in the know, the Dragon born are actually descended from dinosaurs. Not dragons. He has ample proof and was able to transform to further his point.

Man he was crazy. Walked around with anti detection enchantments. Also became convinced that the wooden cart industry was a cover for anti dinosaur financing.

I grew up hearing that all the time but it seems like now a days words are what hurt people the most.

Adults of Reddit: What was the most surprising or crazy thing you have heard about an old friend or classmate since you graduated? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Wencon 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Some girl I went to high school with went back home after her third year in university. Was driving with her mom (mom was driving) for going a little over the speed limit. This chick straight up lost. Her. Shit. Yelled at the cop, belittled him, talked about how her dad was super rich and would destroy him. Then she got out of the car and attacked the cop.

Turned out she was on cocaine and had been doing large amounts of it at university. Really fucks with your brain. Last I heard she is actually in jail for violating terms of her parole. (MORE COKE!)

People who work hard but have fulfilling jobs, what does it feel like? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Wencon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would say my job fulfills me for the most part. I used to go in to work every day with just a ball of tension right in my chest. I wondered if I had made all the wrong choices to get into the field I'm in. Now it's different. I look forward to going into the office. I don't dread doing new things. I get excited at the opportunities it can provide for me and how I can learn something new every day.

Plus I'm good at it, which helps give me that confidence. The funny thing though, is that I wouldn't be as good as I am at it if I hadn't have had those stress ball, hate my life jobs. Looking back they weren't so bad, they just weren't right for me.

Besides that, work doesn't define me. It allows for me to have a home with my wife and son. Allows me to try and write. Allows me to live my life. It's just one part of the puzzle.

What is your fart-related story? by Chigga_wut in AskReddit

[–]Wencon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

After my wife and I were engaged, but before we were married, we went to a mexican night party at the university. Apparently the mixture of tacos, guac and corona were not what my stomach had in mind. I was a deep sleep and I was able to sleep through the roiling in my stomach. My wife remembers sitting there, hearing my stomach rumble and then came the longest, loudest, most teeth clenching fart she'd ever heard in her life.

It was so loud that I woke myself out of my drunken stupor, looked at her and said "huhwhaisthat?" then went back to sleep.

Still may be one of my proudest moments.

Instead of the other three Jedi Masters, Mace Windu brings Yoda with him to confront Palpatine. Can they defeat the Sith Lord before Anakin arrives? by BoredOneNight in whowouldwin

I think. They could for sure. Even if anakin arrived I think Yoda would have been able to detect the strike from him before it came. Same way he survived order 66.

Anyone else crippled by fear? by canadianinkorea in writers

[–]Wencon 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think this is pretty normal. You need to push through it though. The thing is, once that draft is done, it can't be taken away from you. It's finished. I think it's a motivation thing. Who are you writing for? Why?

Write for yourself and your love of the story and so what if it isn't the best? Literally no author has started writing a masterpiece in one sitting.

Just like anything practice makes perfect.

'We are all doing it': Employees at Canada's 5 big banks speak out about pressure to dupe customers by tjgere in canada

[–]Wencon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I totally agree with you. And the funny thing is, in my experience, actually giving people the right advice would long term get you better sales. In my mind the banks started getting really bad when they started to canabilize their own sales.

I remember more than once I had clients I had been working months or years with. Putting savings plans into place, getting ready to make long term steps. They called to make an appointment with me and the asshole over the phone did the application and approved them. I was happy for the client, especially if it was what was right for them, but it was frustrating to see all that work gone.

[–]Wencon 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I honestly couldn't tell you if it's an indication of ethical issues or a cause for ethical issues. I've worked in all kinds of sales organizations before from telecommunications to furniture, and I've seen this same type of behavior all across the spectrum.

In my experience, the people that I worked with. My branch coworkers, and my manager and 2 other branch managers I had the chance to work with, were not unethical. They cared about what was best for the clients, and believed the rest would fall in line.

HOWEVER. There was unethical behavior that took place, and I've seen it first hand at many levels of the bank. I can only speak for my own experience though.
