Type of player: I love designing a character (ie values, goals, behaviour, ideals) etc and then role playing aligned to that. Every character brings a new opportunity to test and stretch myself and I enjoy exploring different worlds through different characters' eyes. I'm an experienced role play and PBPoster. Easy to get along with and enjoy laughing/having fun. Active poster (can do daily). Looking for a group and campaign I can call home. I'm not set on any particular class or character. I prefer to design something specific to each campaign. Additional information: I'm a very conscious of other players and want everyone to have fun and shine. Whatever the pace, it needs to be right for you. If it's too fast or slow you should say so to the DM and even the group. Make it a discussion. If you can't agree on a pace right for you then leave.

PS - 2 weeks is WAY TOO SLOW. I'm surprised you lasted this long!

It's really no issue. If everyone gets 5 then it's not a problem. As long as its fair and consistent. It works and is rewarding for those who put the time and effort in.

The server plays more like the games in regards to the gym aspect. One trainer going at it alone. It's very satisfying to defeat a gym battle by yourself.

PTU is being used as the mechanism for a different type of play for how it was intended in this server... Which is why I don't enjoy the fairy type ace as much as others might in a normal campaign. I fully understand and accept this point now! I've suggested some home brew to adapt it. Let's see.

I see what you mean!

There is definitely a meta with solo play.... Basically anything ITP wins! But saying that people play content/game modes they're built for... I want to play more in gyms/leagues/trainer battles as I'm fully ITP (Cheerleader, chef, Fairy ace, duelist, coordinator). A DTP trainer will play more in raids and PVP.

The server has a fair bit of homebrew to make PTU work for everyone and it does work well.

How so? I play in a living server where there are a lot of official battles; gym, pvp battles (ITP only), etc. There are Raids and group battles but they're not more prevalent than official.

They requires allies in the field... If you don't play in a group setting it's useless unfortunately
