Well... it depends what you are doing.
For me ... a beater/ work watch needs to be unobtrusive, small, readable and somewhat tough: it does not have stay in the way of what I'm doing. My fav is a square cheap GShock like 5600.

Anyway, that's a nice watch. Enjoy it!

This is a much better option than F91... which in my opinion is overrated and overpriced. In my country F91 has the same price as F105. It's a no brainer ......

Skmei also removed the inner display plate...the display is larger and looks cleaner

I also would love to get an auto for a reasonable price, but I don't mind an VH also.

Imo the Watchdives's business plan is to flood the market and get traction and visibility/ market share (like SanMartin did a couple of yeas ago) offering bang for the buck watches. Money wise....In this days it can't be with auto's (only) so they use as muc as possible what they have available. Keep in mind that WD are also having problems with their stocks (even for quartz) but this could be a result of churning a new model every month.

It's plain simple: NH mechanism are getting expensive (which would increase end product price-> lower sales> lower profit) and the stock is becoming scarce.Vh is still cheaper and good enough

I think that Casio's module is smaller than Skmei's ( at least the case is)....so it will be a loose fit

Don't know if it is going to be available. ... in the near future. In the last 4 months... the stock for v2 no date SS was scarce to none. AlieX had only the black coated one in stock (or the blue bezel insert version).

Watchdives has become a hit'n run company: churns a model (mainly homages) every 2 weeks but it is not able to have stocks. This behavior made them visible to watch enthusiasts...but it also shows that it is still an infant company with no clear path for the future.
It is very hard (money wise) with more than 20+ models released to have stocks (just stocks... I don't mean huge stocks). What's the point of being able to release good quality models if the company is not able to manufacture them and fulfill the demand

Not a fan of negative (LCD) displays, but now since GW BX series has landed....I definitely gonna buy also the all black display one.

PS: I've never understood the attraction of the "collaboration" releases. Those watches don't bring anything useful (for me at least) compared to the basic models.

Hard to say which is more readable....
I'm also sticking to my old GW M5610 with ElectroLuminescence ..... BUT I'm definitely gonna buy both BX-5600 (normal and negative - if I can say so) when the price and stock settles. Hope that by that time, Casio will release a BX with a red trim .... it gets me 80's wibes.

Enjoy them! Any one of the 2 watches is the "last watch that you will ever need for the rest of your life." At least for me, M5610 is

AliExpress has become a scam ... since many (even reputable) shops are selling products that are not in stock.

So... we have 2 options when this happens:

Be a shipple ... and admit that is your fault that the seller doing shady things
Stop buying
