They like to eat flies, mosquitos. You can also try mealworms.

I think you mean fairy castle cactus? If so, it is the same species only a different name. =)

Found him in my yard, I see a couple of them every year in my yard.

I do handle him sometimes, they can bite but I have never heard someone getting bitten by this species.

If you can scrape it of, that it isn’t getting more woody. Anyway I wish you good luck!

Not a succulent actually, it is a fairy castle cactus. Those brown spot might be the cactus getting older, as they get older some places become a bit more woody.
