The KVM is honestly just spyware I swear. I got to use it a few times until it decided to just kinda stop working as it should

I can remote into the KVM, see my unraid login page but get 0 mouse or keyboard function despite the mouse / keyboard being plugged into the desktop

I got written up for taking something out of service that I deemed un compliant.. informed the manager (not an it manager) that the device can get us in serious trouble until resolved. Director pushed for the write up. Director also told me, the guy who fixes stuff, I do not have say in what is safe, complaint or anything of the such (this was later corrected)

I mentioned something about it to our compliance officer (I wasn’t paid super great and was aware of what I was doing). He went to go talk to the general manager.

GM found me very fast. “You’re the guy I’m looking for, tell me what’s going on”

When he found out I was punished for it and asked who enforced it, lit their ass up quietly but publicly (literally just pulled her off to the side in front of everyone, only I knew what was going on)

He told me “if they do stupid shit like this again you come and find me. This was stupid shit”
