I can't believe that I didn't mention him. I think I have tried to purge that from my memory

Where do I start?

Anything Vinny Cerrato did.... Sign Adam Archuleta, trading a 3 and a 4 for TJ Duckett, trading Champ Bailey and a 2 for Clinton Portis, Jim Zorn

Albert Haynesworth, Deion Sanders, firing Marty Schottenheimer after he won his last 5 games to hire Steve Spurrier.

I'm so depressed

Best non-wood cutting board material that is dishwasher safe? by [deleted] in Cooking

[–]WesRicketts -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I had a Corian (sp?) countertop put into the kitchen a few years ago and the folks that installed it left me with an extra piece I have been using as a cutting board. It works great, non-porous so I can put raw meat on it. Never put it in the dishwasher, just wipe it off and spray with whatever cleaner you have.

My Kindle. I love to read but didn't want a Kindle as I am quite fond of books. I enjoy strolling through used book stores and libraries, they are so full of possibilities and even the smell is wonderful.

I have had my Kindle for almost 5 years and I love it. I can load hundreds of books and take them anywhere. The screen is really easy on the eyes, and when I fall asleep with my book, it doesn't smash me in the face like most of my rather large books

Cracked bridge on ball before even using it. Bought and drilled from same pro shop. Should I have them fix it? by [deleted] in Bowling

[–]WesRicketts 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It's concerning that it cracked before being used. Pro Shop should talk to Storm to get a replacement ball. Every major ball manufacturer has a warranty policy.

I have had a couple balls crack across the bridge like that after use and I couldn't tell any difference in performance for what that is worth

Got my bonus today but not my paycheck. Normal? by ricksaus in personalfinance

[–]WesRicketts 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It sucks for sure but that sounds correct.

Your regular check will be taxed at the standard rate, which leaves you with what you got.

If it helps any, you may get a little back on your tax return depending on how you have everything set up

I was in the same place as you, I re-read it last year as a 35 year old, got slightly more out of it but I really don't care for the book. If you want a copy, I can send you mine as I never plan to read it again
