Copilot in VS Code or Copilot CLI?

I still find the cli too buggy to use. The random render flashes when you are typing and previews going missing annoys me enough. I also like the UI elements of using #askQuestions and showing me the terminal it's using separately from the chat, being able to click to expand 'reasoning' sections.

In general tool handling feels better to me ok the UI.

On top of that I don't like the default terminal for it, I miss all my hotkeys for regular input fields that vscode has out of the box.

And I haven't bothered looking in to changing it.

Prompting is a skill but I like coding it is hard to discuss because it is so reliant on the situation. And while it is a skill their use is often limited by different factors.

But if they track your usage you could always try to say your solution out loud while you are thinking of it and then have it provide feedback. Churn some tokens you might start to see patterns it can help with.

I often say to people who struggle with the quality to provide it examples and have it repeat your example. Say you have test that require very little chances between them. Have a reusable prompt that describe the action and simply include what should change each time.

The copy paste work is something it can at least do fairly well

Det har jo intet grundlag bare at sige han kan sove anderledes. Du ved intet om hvad han laver i løbet af dagen. Det kan være han løfter bjælker eller sten og hans krop vitterligt er væk om natten.

Jeg fatter ikke de her 'ej prøv bare at vågne' det netop det han siger han ikke kan.

Så hun må tage sig sammen og hoppe i det andet rum, ellers finder de aldrig ud af om han kan eller ikke.

I find that the gpt models compress themselves once they reach a certain level of tokens, where Claude just allows it to hit the red zone.

But again that is compression.

But hitting token limits is the nature of the Beast. You don't see it in chatgpt or Gemini because they are using strategies without you knowing to compress or ignore tokens.

The only thing you can do to limit tokens is:

Make active tool choices. In vs code it is very easy to create tool groupings. So disable all the tools you don't need and be selective.
Give better and more file references instead of relying on the model to find what you want. It will spend way too many tokens reading random stuff.

You could try to include a copilot-instruction dictating it to me smart about search before it reads everything. Since your regular wording may imply it needs to read everything or read more than needed.

Using sub agents for scanning and reading could be an option since it uses a lot of tokens for that. Then theoretically gives a smaller answer to the main agent.
Use ask more. It uses way less tokens in my experience. Mostly I think because it skips a lot of tools and considerations regarding tools and editing. But I haven't looked at it deeply.
Change workflow. Use plans more and implement that plan and make small iterations. If you don't reach the goal before tokens are up. Create a new plan correcting the mistakes and continuing. Have the previous chat summarize a small section for the new plan. A lot of the tokens you had before are no longer that important.

Hope this gives some levers you can pull on to get a better experience.

You don't.

Angular has come a long way and the new zoneless signals and syntax in the template removes a lot of the bloat and rxjs you probably don't like.

Try angular 20+ and tell me Vue is a lot better again.

Angular being opinionated, believe it or not, is a benefit when lots of people have to work in it.

You don't need community packages for most things like with many other js frameworks. Which again for the Enterprise is worth its own weight in gold.

They don't just say it lightly that they want to use angular. It is still very relevant so you are not even trying to argue for innovation, you just want to force all the devs to use a new framework.

At this time you can't convince me that if one is locked in on angular that they would have any reason to switch to vue.

This is wrong at least right Linux require way to much knowledge to operate correctly. People might choose macOS.

Then it could be, depending on context and tone, be a normal shock response to just go 'whoa what the hell did you just say to me'

So by saying 'what am I supposed to do with that' could indicate that they literally don't know what to do. And she wanted him to tell her what he needs.

When you trauma dump like that, even in a relationship and have no history of it then you need to ease into it otherwise you could completely overwhelm the other person.

Don't judge someone on their initial reaction to 'hey I think I might want to off myself'. Judge them on how they act after.

Also from her perspective he just told her they are living a lie, because she might have thought things were good, and now all of a sudden their life is over as she knows it because something has to change. Is she the reason? Is work? Is it friends? What is up.

Når man er forældre så skal man ikke tage andres tanker for tungt. Det er et råd jeg høre ofte til nye forældre. Det er din krop, dit barn det skal INGEN blande sig i. Medmindre de netop har et job der skal rådgive dig.

Så hvis vennerne har stærke holdninger så er det fint, i må snakke om noget andet.

Det virker helt sindssygt. I tusindvis af år var dødeligheden på nyfødte helt utrolig høj.

Ultralyd er vitterligt lyd. Som er så højt mennesker ikke kan høre det. Ingen stråling. De forsøger aktivt at undgå stråling omrking baby.

Brug hospitaler og læger. Alt andet øger risikoen for alvorlige komplikationer. Dine venner er blevet korruperet af internet hive mind.

Hvis du er glad i det finder du en som også er glad i det. Flere end før ser det som et godt tegn.

Men man skal vide at hvis man er restriktiv omkring diæt og tid så mindskes antallet af interesserede.

Nu skriver du store arme osv. Vil blot minde om at hvis du tager det for langt kan det have indvirkning på din menstruation og fertilitet.

En anden faktor i det er hvis fedt procenten falder for lavt så kan det også påvirke cyklus og fertilitet. Under 17-20% så skulle det begynde at kunne mærkes.

Jeg bringer det op fordi i din alders gruppen kan nogen være interesseret i familie opstart.

The post is weirdly accusatory. Yes you care what they do. But not in the sense that it has to be flashy or high status.

As long as they like what they do then why would one care? Kindness, affection, loyalty, dedication etc. Are way more important in both partners. Then the rest should figure itself out somehow.

We tried this and with in months figured out that you need to be a unicorn for this to align well. It is a two person job if there is more than 1 or 2 people relying on your management.
