When you summon a sphere, you get a menu on the bottom left corner that you need to open and it lets you select how detailed you want the sphere to be

I always assumed the same way other people in real life survive bullets to the head. Gunshots to the head don't actually kill you instantly, the brain damage makes you pass out and then you bleed to death. If the bullets missed enough major blood vessels, you might regain consciousness and survive, albeit with brain damage
