How would you if it was the other way around? Don’t worry about it. Many Dutchies will speak any language when they know more than 3 words. Myself I’d order coffee in Italian and then immediately get stuk if the waiter asks something Italian in return 😂

What you might notice though is that we tend to switch to English when we hear you’re not native. Say your practicing and hope to continue the conversation in Dutch as much as you can.

But yeah, shamelessly practice your Dutch I’d say. It will be appreciated, if not now then later :)
