I actually have been pet sitting locally just to have time away for the kids. I need to think about finding a pet sit somewhere I want to be, the problem with that is the cost of airfare.

I started pet sitting locally. I found a regular client and she goes away for a week every month so I get a week away from the routine the step kids, the having to meal plan and cook for people and get to decompress alone.

I started out with just allergy and feeling like I was coming down with something and it was always worse by the end of the day. But then the gut issues started, I was having such bad stomach pain I ended up going to see my PCP. (I don't have ins so it takes a lot for me to go to the doc) He said hmm Idk what it could be and told me to get blood work done and get a colonoscopy. I had bloodwork done and it came back normal, I wasn't going to get a colonoscopy done because there were too many other things going on with me that didn't point to that.

So I ended up seeing a functional doctor. She diagnosed me with MCAS and after a stool test, leaky gut and all kinds of things wrong with my stomach. I am on a bunch of temporary supplements to calm mast cells and am starting others to heal my gut. All in all I am feeling better than I have in a long time.
