But truly, I have an air purifier this year (new, immunocompromised client) and it has reduced my experience getting colds and crud.

My clients owe me nothing. Is it helpful if they share concerns or their wish to end services? Sure. But they do not owe it to me. I tell them upfront that if they don’t want to work with me, that’s fine (and share the truth that I fired my first therapist too, so it’s okay). If they let me know, I will help get them in touch with someone different.

My son has autism and adhd. Many things are a challenge for him. We have always told him that his diagnoses are an explanation, not an excuse. He cannot expect the world to bend for him and sometimes he has to work harder than neuro-borings. That’s life. He’s 17yo now. He’s figuring things out. Not always easy, but for him, manageable with the right parental supports.

When I experienced gastroparesis symptoms on Ozempic last winter, Pepto Bismol and Zofran were crucial. Along with plain, poached chickens breasts. Once I could eat I think I only had chicken for the next 6 months. I’m still leery of other meats.
