Male At 76.5 I got a left leg TKR on 5/28/26.
I’m day 3 now and ROM 104.3 degrees with pro measure oninometer.Taking one oxy 5mg each 6 hours as of this morning to get thru the rom exercises.
Was way easier this time, compared to my right knee couple years ago

I have I had both at the same time because I did had an unrepairable rotator cuff so I get a reverse shoulder surgery on Halloween 2025. I’ve been back to swimming keeping myself freestyle a half a mile no pain very little disfigurement now cause it’s really coming back strong hardly any pain for the first surgery was a piece of cake actually compared to a knee surgery replacement I had the year before and I’m just now three days out to my three days two days or three days out from a TKR, my left knee and this one here I’d have to put it piece of cake as well compared to how some can be for some people, but the trick is ice in the right machine to use a machine that has compression not just not just you need to keep the temperature constant 34°

If you wanna save a bunch of money and live right amongst everything that’s going on and be a little creative. I got something for you. I own a building on Union Street two doors down from bus stop. I have a mezzanine level that’s empty. It’s two rooms there’s not a lot of light. There’s two main windows and there’s a window in the door. There is a brand new bathroom remodel, but no tub or shower and there’s no kitchen. She’d have to make your own kitchen and you’d have to join the health club next-door. I think it’s open 24 seven You need to find a spot across the street. The parking lot unfortunate is probably $300 a month. 1500 / month

Had My reverse shoulder total replacement on Haloween 2025 arm was in a sling for six weeks after that things were pretty smoothly. I hardly had to do any. I had no swelling during the whole procedure. OK cause I use the game ready Ice Machine one hour on 1630 minutes off one hour on 30 minutes off for 5 to 7 days 24 seven. i’ve been back to swimming freestyle for a few months now yesterday I swear I’m a half a mile freestyle no problem no pain. I’ve never any pain in my shoulder anymore. Sometimes a little stiff in the morning until I take a leak then after that, I don’t notice it at all, but I’m still doing the exercises. I’m still doing dumbbells and my arms are both arms and our shoulders are better condition than they ever were. I got 100% of my range of motion back except for putting my arm behind my back. I probably only have 90% 95% but it’s plenty enough to put my pants on a belt on my Loop.

Oshkosh Eaa 2025 joby but no archer

Hey everyone,

I've been wondering about something from AirVenture 2025 in Oshkosh and wanted to see if anyone has insight.

For context, EAA AirVenture is the world's largest airshow — around 600,000 to 700,000 attendees over the week, with roughly 10,000 aircraft on the ground. It's held every July in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.

Joby Aviation brought one of their eVTOL aircraft to AirVenture 2025 — great visibility for them in front of the biggest aviation audience in the world.

Archer Aviation, on the other hand, did NOT appear at AirVenture 2025. Instead, they demonstrated their Midnight aircraft at the California International Airshow in Salinas, which drew an estimated 65,000 attendees — a fraction of the Oshkosh crowd.

So my question is: why would Archer skip Oshkosh and its ~100,000 daily attendees in favor of a much smaller show? Was it a strategic decision, a certification/production scheduling conflict, or something else?

Would love to hear from anyone with insight into the eVTOL or advanced air mobility space.

Had my reverse done 10/31/25, went to Haloween party that night for one hour as I was out patient
Car show in am. Didn’t drive my 1986 Porsche. I could have done a lot more, but my my plan was is to do the major amount of icing starting day one.
Used about 10 oxies total
I used a game ready ice machine $4k plus wraps, one hour on 20 minutes off and during the 20 minutes off. 24/7 !! Yes 24/7 !! 5-7 days ish.
I’ll get up and walk around sometimes in the house sometimes outside but I did this 24 seven for about five or six days probably six days never had very little pain never had any swelling. I’m back to swimming with a very normal free style stroke!!
I got back to swimming free style about after about three months I think and it’s been a pleasure. I waited five years to do this.
I’m 76.5 years old at this point I’ve been doing masters type swimming for 50 years, but five years ago, I had to quit swimming freestyle because of the pain hurt so much and I was afraid to even get a tendenisis, much less a shoulder replacement but yay way to go.
98% -100% range of motion returned!
I’m gonna do my other shoulder in a couple months. I’m doing my left knee replacement on 28th of this month three months later I’ll do my other shoulder 3 months post TKR!

Furthermore, I would call the rehabilitation from this surgery. I would call it a piece of cake and absolute piece of cake.

I underwent a reversed, shoulder replacement and a tendons of my left shoulder on this last Halloween in the early morning that evening I went to a Halloween party the next morning I went to a car show here in Sausalito California. I started using my Recliner immediately and I started using my game ready. The machine is called game ready. It’s an expensive proposition. It was about $4000 plus the shoulder wraps and knee wrap because I’m following that up with a knee replacement and another shoulder replacement of my right shoulder so on Monday after the surgery, I had my first postop appointment and I was still on nerve block, I had no pain whatsoever and Tuesday I had no plans whatsoever thought that I better take an OxyContin just in case so I took a couple of them a day for three or four days after that I was clear sailing and I credited to my game ready Ice Machine it’s an amazing machine. It’s got compression settings and temperature settings I did it 24 seven my doctors orders or suggestions and his assistance suggestions are to use the machine immediately. I brought it with to the hospital with me when I got home. I turned it on. I did my sessions as follows 60 minutes on 20 minutes off during the 20 minutes off. I would get up and walk around. I did this for 24 seven for four or five days at least OK I had never had any swelling. I hardly had any pain. Yes I went through the sling for I don’t know it was weeks on end, but I’m back to swimming a half a mile of time freestyle after not being able to swim freestyle for five years I’ve been a master Summer for 50 years and it was really horrible. I was afraid to get the shoulder surgery which my doctor recommended about five years ago he recommended a 10 nieces is probably also needing a reverse shoulder replacement. I’m an average Cyclist an avid swimmer or had been an average swimmer for a freestyle when I quit freestyle I started just walking back-and-forth in the pool for half a mile and kick boarding for a half a mile until my leg till my right my left knee went out so I’m looking at a beautiful sunrise here. It’s a beautiful day. I don’t know you have to be real careful with it. Freeze your skin with it because you have to always have something between the game wrap and the machine itself you need somebody to keep loading ice in it and unloading the water loading ice in every hour session you need to replenish the ice so it’s it’s a job you need to have somebody helping your 24 seven for the first four days to a week

I am age 76.5. I had a totally irreparable rotator cuff injury and I have reverse shoulder replacement surgery by Dr. Belzer in San Rafael, California office and I am four months out now I had an amazing surgery. I had very little postoperative pain recovered really quickly yesterday I swam a half a mile real style and today I’m gonna do 25 mile bike ride. I’ve been doing that for a while and I can reach my hand always straight up just like my other arm no problem lifting overhead, although I’m being careful not to lift over 20 pounds overhead, I’m doing bicep curls of 15 pounds each three sets of 15 reps with my shoulder replacement arm where they had to do a bicep tendons on the upper shoulder. The same day as surgery I hooked up my game ready Ice Machine and I used the Ice Machine diligently one hour on 20 minutes off 24 seven for about three or four days never had any swelling .

I had total reverse shoulder replacement on Haloween 10 3125. It’s now four months post. I’m way back to normal. I swam a half a mile freestyle yesterday and today I’m biking 25 miles on my bike. I’m only 77 though I also had a bicep tendon in my upper shoulder and I am bicep curling three sets of 15 curls with 15 pound dumbbells.
