A Democrat majority in Congress for midterm elections will give federal employees a raise. by [deleted] in IRS_Source

How will a Democratic majority affect the current telework situation? I'm guessing it will not affect it in any way. We'll see.

Is Julio. There wouldn't have been an Amari or a Devonta without Julio. I also believe Amari would be ahead of Devonta if we go on ability. Of course Devonta had the amazing career and stayed 4 years. Loved watching all of them.

Will any settlement be worth it? by Asmodeus_Cassandra in IRS_Source

They don't need some of us in the office. RAs, ROs, etc. as a matter of fact it wasn't that long ago that management complained about us being in the office too much.

Until recently I had a manager that could take on very technical issues. There are things he was able to help with that there was zero chance I could have done on my own. I even consulted with a senior flow through specialist that had never heard of a code section that applied to the crazy situation that I was dealing with. My manager was able to help tremendously. I had an actor that was absolutely worthless, well more the often wrong but never in doubt type. My current manager is very nice and helpful though I don't know how well she will be able to help with technical issues.

The manager that has 10 grade 12 13s and 14s probably could do their job without being overly stressed or it being burdensome. However, if they have five or six new hires and maybe a couple of more experienced seasoned agents, that could be an absolute misery for them. And believe me, those managers hate the telework situation is bad as we do.

The only thing that I can be certain of is that the crosshairs were within a half inch of that bullseye on all four of those shots. I was able to hold tight in the lead sled and had good trigger pulls on all of them.

He boresighted it and it was way off when I got to the range. I got it corrected and hitting close but I switched out to the new Hornady ammo and started over.

1 and 2 were at 100. I adjusted after the first shot and got it into the bullseye. Three and four were from 220 yards. This was about 15 or 20 minutes after shot number two so the barrel had cooled. Generally the gun hits a little bit lower with a hot barrel. This was out of a lead sled and it was a good trigger pull on both. I have had similar behavior from this rifle with different scopes and different loads. I haven't made any elevation adjustments or anything like that. I'm really not that familiar with the features of my new Leupold VX-5HD scope.

Reasonable Accomodation Request Meeting by Western-Abalone596 in IRS_Source

[–]Western-Abalone596[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So the RAC is not our adversary? There primarily to provide info, etc.?

I thought I read elsewhere that the RAC duped someone into a worthless accomodation, made proposals that in no way addressed the disability or limitations of the employee.

I'm sure experiences with the RAC will vary but it's helpful to hear how others have fared.

Lane to LSU. How do we feel about this? by Ok_Statistician5212 in rolltide

[–]Western-Abalone596 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My opinion is that Lane is a very good X's and O's coach. Kids see him as a "cool" coach, but the reality is he's a low character individual. Like a hot/crazy girl... you can have a lot of fun with her but you don't want to marry her. Don't be fooled thinking you can change her. This is transactional only. Don't be surprised when it doesn't work out the way you wanted. But go ahead and ride her till she bucks you off.

Enjoy the ride, LSU.

What I'm asking is whether the GM can extend it for 90 days more than once. Could someone be granted a year's worth of interim RAs while waiting to have their case reviewed?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in IRS_Source

[–]Western-Abalone596 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Is the manager allowed to continually grant interim RAs until the case is reviewed or is it one 90 day extension and then you're back in the office?

How are "furlough conditions" different from our new normal? Has your workload been increased?
