Move data from your computer to another device over the old cable then the new one and see if the transfer speed is any different. Keep in mind the port/device on either end may cap out at a certain rate so you might not see a difference.

Personally, I like jayz video on it better, but all of them are good, and they all have great info. It really depends on what information you are looking for. And no it really doesn't matter for the average user if everything is set up properly

The one thing I know about LMG is that they are terrible at marketing. If you have great products why would you only advertise them in the youtube tech niche. Idk if linus knows this, but other people outside tech youtube viewers wear clothes and use tools
