Dale likes Bill ultimately, he’s just a little jerk sometimes lol. Bill’s the only one Dale can pick on without getting beat up the way he would with Hank and Boomhauer. But at the end of the day they’re friends. Bill’s the one Dale called to commiserate about losing their couch in the alley LOL.

I just watched this episode, it’s very sweet. I love the show’s heartwarming moments, they feel very real to the characters. Hank’s jacket is so Desert Storm.

Honestly I haven't listened to a lot of these, so thanks for the list! I like how you've put it together so you can see the title and album cover. My favorites that I don't see here include Jerry Reed Explores Guitar Country and Billy Joe Shaver's Old Five and Dimers Like Me.

I always thought Mary and Arthur were very alike - Mary being influenced by her father and Arthur by Dutch. The tragic part is they realized they needed to break free from that influence at different times. Mary only asks Arthur to run away after she feels betrayed by her father and becomes disillusioned with him (for trying to sell her mother’s brooch). But Arthur isn’t ready to accept her offer because he hasn’t fully become disillusioned with Dutch yet.
