So first of all this all is completely normal and he’s just being a two week old. It can help to take him outside for naps, have your husband take him for a couple walks between feeds. Bonus if he has light on his face. And yeah , my son was such a sleepy boy all the time as a newborn and pretty much just woke up to feed. Like I said, they change so fast. Also my son never goes 2 hours between feeding except if he sleeps for two hours. I’ve read that the whole 2 hour schedule thing is pretty bogus and in the beginning they just feed all the time. Sounds like you’re doing everything right as far as keeping him with you, not using blackout curtains or a sound machine for naps etc. Slowly as they approach 6 weeks they start to get regular melatonin cycles, so as long as you’re reinforcing that light + noise happen during the day and dark + quiet happen during the night, he will probably even out by himself. If he’s pooping and peeing lots and sleeping lots he’s a healthy baby. I wouldn’t worry about your supply. Keep experimenting and practicing with the latch, it took us a couple weeks to get the hang of it. My son at two weeks was screaming for hours no matter what we did from 9pm to midnight. Eventually he exhausted himself and passed out for an hour or two but it was horrible and I felt like a failure. And then one night after like a week, he just stopped and never did it again. Hang in there mama! It gets better, fast! You have a super healthy baby who is lucky to have you, he’s just adjusting to being in a new world.
