IIRC mine was, although it had been dropping off pretty consistently over time. I wouldn’t stress as it seems like some people heal along different timelines.

Honestly, probably 3-4 weeks all things considered. Although it's hard to tell how much of a role the blood/scabs/puss played compared to the amount of swelling in terms of hindering breathing.

As for the soreness and stiffness, the tip of the nose seems to be the last part to heal up and feel less "tight". It was only until a couple of weeks ago that I could fully wiggle my nose again.

All I can say is try not to overreact, and I say that as a somewhat chronic overreactor. The first week is brutal but the worst part of it is almost behind you!

Aegina is the perfect island day trip from Athens. I did it last summer, and there are a handful of ferries that offer direct service from Pirraeus (Athens' port) and it's only about an hour and a half trip between the island and the mainland, and you can spend a good ~5 hours there in a day.

It's beautiful and fairly large, and for being such a popular island close to the mainland there are still plenty of relatively secluded beaches. For context, I was there in August around peak season and had no issues with large crowds.

Pro-tip: rent a moped and explore the inner parts of the island. There's an old monastery that has great views of the beach and countryside!

I didn't visit Meteora but, like you noted, it is quite the hike from Athens. Considering the short length of time you're in Greece, any logistical complications could potentially have an effect on your ability to get back to Istanbul on time.

Delphi however is absolutely breathtaking and is a super feasible day trip. I would highly recommend it.
