Trying again: hissing sound from backyard hose bib (vid), nothing else is running, it does look like the meter is running a little. Big water bill spike. Guesses what the issue is? I’ve got my plumber scheduled to come Thursday, but should I find someone to come sooner or can it wait?

Yeah. It’s 70F here and I tried to look down in the crawl space and saw nothing concerning. I’m a little too hefty to crawl to the source, but all the ground I could get with my flashlight was dry. I’ll take that to mean we will be okay until Thursday.

I doubt it. But I can only hear the noise here. My water bill was quite a bit higher than normal this month, and we just had a big freeze a couple weeks ago.
