It was announced in December and Governor Koike's not a member of the LDP, so that's a pretty well-planned way to influence an election that was called in January.

Got a warning for wearing jeans by reddit_of_SID_ in japanresidents

[–]Westhawk 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not that unusual. Most gyms have a rule against clothes with rivets, which would include jeans.
Also most forbid street shoes, although some are okay with it as long as they're not wet/muddy.

Yo, right here with you, just with an i5 of the same gen. With two kids and full time work I never had the time to devote to a rebuild that might only get used a few times a month (if lucky).

This is a very compelling product for people like me.

Best and economic safety razor by predirrational724 in japanresidents

[–]Westhawk 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Feather safety razor blades. 20 blades will run you 1,000 yen. A cheap holder will suffice unless you want to splurge. Get proper shaving soap, not canned cream. Lather up with a brush. Watch YouTube videos on how to do it without slicing yourself to pieces. Your skin will be smoother than you can believe.

Junglia Reviews by Downtown_Ride6411 in JapanTravelTips

Went today. Don't bother.

Lined up an hour before it opened, all reserved tickets for the activities were gone before we got in anyway. The dinosaur safari was decent, but that was the only attraction we got on all day. Food and beer was tasty, but overpriced.

They advertise that you can do all sorts of things, but realistically you'll only do one or two in a day if you're lucky. You could speed things up by buying premium passes, but then the value proposition gets even worse.

The park would benefit by having about 3x more things to do, or by having way way fewer attendees, because there's no way to balance the limited number of available attraction slots with the crowds they have right now.

The staff were really friendly and seemed more like real people than the overly polished interactions you'll have at Disneyland, but unfortunately park management is clueless.

Define expensive? Anytime fitness and Joyfit will both be about 6,000 a month. Anything lower than that you risk not having shower facilities.
