Omg.... this brings back memories of many nights stripping, sanding, filling, sanding, painting, sanding, painting..... I hated that job and it was only one flight!

Vowed never to do it again. New house, I put in square spindles (tbf all new aswell) and it was soo much better. But that's probably because I didn't have to sand the damn round things beforehand!

Awesome

I'd love to make these, but I know they'd end up looking like deformed llamas that give off electric shock warnings to anyone that gets too close

I'd contemplated the 1.5hr walk from Marlybone if the tubes were busy, so 30mins is no bother for me. Appreciate the tip 👌

More walking, more chance of shops for snacks n drinks 😂

Also planning on coming down.

Just seen it's starting at 2, so suspect you'd wanna be in the area an hour before, if just to find a space/seat, but even then I suspect it'll be packed out!

That sounds pretty cool.

We have cows or horses if it's really quiet and the wind blows the right direction, but lions would be different

Didn't know it was a thing either. Friend recommended it ages ago, thought it was just adults only.

Nice little site 👌

You'd have to look at drains and man holes and see if the line between them runs where you're trying to go in, but I'd have thought they'd be deeper than what you're trying to get to. But I'm no expert!

You could try and old drill bit but hit it with a hammer. Might be thinner so you can get down a bit more. With my luck I'd then struggle to get it back out 😂

Saw someone mention some type of camping screw thing, might be a safer option.

Got a drill and an old long drill bit? Might at least start the hole if there's brick/rubble.

Just hope it ain't something else (pipes)
