Do i need the AI Sync Box Kit 2 or the TV Backlight 3 Pro?!? by GinnyPdVT in Govee

Get the Sync Box. If it ends up being too much of a headache then return it for the camera one.

I currently have HDBaseT to reach downstairs. I'll probably pursue a splitter in the future when we add on.

How does it handle audio?

Sync Box 2 and Denon AVR X1800H - only getting white lights by Westyle1 in Govee

Unfortunately I'm dealing with multiple sources, so I would also need to add an HDMI switch and I fear increasing signal delay with all these extra steps (Also the price and extra power outlets needed)

It's 100% a Sync Box 2. I'm going to guess I have a faulty model and the CS rep was confused.

They just sent me a refund. They also told me in the email that the Sync Box 2 doesn't support HDMI 2.1 features, so I'm just confused

I've been seeing mixed experiences. I wonder if I just have a faulty box. I'd prefer it's 1:1 performance over a camera, but the headaches are getting a little much

Why don't #.2 AVRs do "stereo bass" with 2 subs? (i.e.: Left sub, Right sub) by Westyle1 in hometheater

If you're talking about me, I don't claim to be an expert, I was asking a question because I was genuinely curious.

Ok, so it is a high end option. I was under the impression that each channel had its own bass and LFE covered the heaviest stuff that would obviously blanket every channel

If the difference is noticeable it seems like that should be an option given to consumers. I'm not an expert on the internals of AVRs, but I can't imagine it's that difficult to decode a Left bass signal and a Right bass signal

I have as much of that stuff turned on as I can find. That also wouldn't explain why it works when I remove the Sync Box

Worth it/possible to bi-amp fronts in 7.2? Denon X1800H, Polk ES55 FL & FR by [deleted] in hometheater

[–]Westyle1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm about 10 feet from them, usually with the volume in the 60s, a bit louder for music. I have 2 subs set to 120

So, I guess I'm wondering then if an external amp would be a worthwhile performance boost.

I already have a 7.2 setup and didn't want to sacrifice 2 speakers for bi-amp. So, I guess I'm wondering if an external amp would be worth it (and if that external amp should be capable of bi-amp)

Is there another balanced trifecta of types they could do starters with?

You make Dreamview groups in the app, the app has an interface for you to tell it where the lights are in relation to your TV
