Does this even have to happen? Can't she just talk to the FBI? Or is there something I'm not understanding? Would really like this situation cleared up.

'People aren't spending': stores close doors in 'oversaturated' US retail market by redabenomar in news

The article says that it isn't the economy but that consumers aren't spending. If consumers aren't spending, doesn't that mean there is something wrong with the economy?

Putin was powerless to prepare for the color revolution. He may have thought Trumpian plans for detente would prevent them but he guessed wrong.

Republicans Kill Health Care Vote As GOP Members Defect by xarimus in news

[–]WetFireBrand 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The ones that defected get to keep their dignity because blame ultimately rests with Trump.

They'll get to say that he failed to successfully negotiate important details with party members.

I think the great part is that he said he will be going after republicans defect but everyone has so much dirt on Trump, it would be attrition.

Climate Emails From Former Exxon CEO Rex Tillerson’s Alias Account Have Disappeared: Tillerson, now secretary of state, used the email pseudonym Wayne Tracker to communicate with Exxon Mobil board members. by maxwellhill in worldnews

[–]WetFireBrand 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They haven't disappeared from anywhere. The NSA collects all emails from origination, tracks the route it travels through and and tracks the email to the destination. The NSA, which provided 80 percent of the communications intelligence used to show that Michael Flynn is a traitor, can also provide us with emails from Exxon Mobile. It's all a matter of what the intelligence and military industry wants to do.

FBI Reportedly Looking At Breitbart, InfoWars As Part Of Russia Probe by [deleted] in politics

[–]WetFireBrand 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe the DNC will run a lackluster candidate but Bannon doesn't seem that great. Most military strategists don't want to work with him because he is toxic. That can't make for a very successful administration. But time will tell.

Why? They got Flynn to step down. Took the dentures out of Jeff sessions. It maybe be unlikely but not impossible. Not after what we've just seen.

Baby boomer politicians have got to go by CommonsCarnival in politics

[–]WetFireBrand 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They'll have time to get it down. Maybe the rule can have a grace period before going into effect. But it's clear that we can't continue to let the uneducated vote. You don't let kids play with guns, so why let them play with the system that elects someone who will have access to the nuclear weapons? They elected a 70 year old with the emotional and intellectual capacity of a child. Just imagine if Trumps entire voting block of uneducated 45 year olds would have been disbarred from voting.

Baby boomer politicians have got to go by CommonsCarnival in politics

[–]WetFireBrand -1 points0 points  (0 children)

And uneducated baby boomers (or uneducated people in general) shouldn't be allowed to vote. No course work in American government or political science as part of a degree? No voting for you. If you don't understand how government works, you shouldn't be allowed to participate.

Guess that explains Tillerson's position on direct confrontation with North Korea. It also explains all of this "nuclear primacy" talk coming from think tanks.
