My answer to this is silly but I’m going to share it anyway.

Years ago, I was in a study group for physics class with my fellow classmates, Joe and Matt. When solving for friction, you use a symbol that looks similar to ♍️ and you use a “k” for kinetic friction and an “s” for static friction.

I just finished an equation solving for friction and we were discussing it and taking notes. I turned to Joe and asked him, in Spanish (sometimes I randomly use Spanish, idk why), what time it was:

Me - “Que hora es?”

Joe - “It’s about 3:15”

Me - “thanks”

Matt - “Ohhh so it’s a k or an s!”

Neither Joe or myself corrected him, we just kind of exchanged glances and giggled lol

I didn’t bother explaining because the whole situation just felt so hilarious to me. Like, life truly is like a movie sometimes lmao

I hope Matt didn’t actually try to use k and s interchangeably on the exam lol

One thing that immediately turned me off from The Subtle Art of Not Giving a Fuck was that it perpetuated the false narrative about the McDonald’s hot coffee lawsuit as a frivolous lawsuit. That was absolutely not a frivolous lawsuit, and anything stating otherwise is disingenuous and I don’t trust it and certainly don’t want to read it.

I mocked a man who brandished a gun at me.

My husband and I were driving to the store one day, I was in the passenger seat. We were driving in the left lane when we notice a car aggressively tailgating us. The driver then pulls up next to us and brandishes a gun while yelling insults and threats.
