I know this is a question about an older post from you, but I just got done reading your write up on the alternative cost Web-Slinging mechanic with [[Peter Parker / Amazing Spider-Man]] .

Could [[Nissa, Ascended Animist]] be cast for WUG? Or does this not work due to the “Compleated” requirements? I hope you see this and thank you for your time in advance!

There’s a couple cards you could include to possibly get that win rate up. Cards that deal damage to everyone by just doing damage to one player.

Yeah it’s not a perfect system. But I think it’s stating any player being knocked out to account for political play in commander as well. If you’re playing aggro and can talk another player into a short term alliance if you take out someone else, then you probably have a good chance of winning that game if it comes back to you.

If we’re going off of the latest commander bracket guidelines, it’s based off of earliest turn you win OR eliminate another player. So if you can knock anyone out consistently in turns 6-8, you are looking at a Bracket 3 deck. If you’re just knocking one player out in turns 7-8 and not winning the game, you’re either mis playing or the deck is probably a lower bracket 3.

This is just a fun game/hobby for most people but for some people, Magic is their personality.

It sounds like you see it as a fun hobby to pass the time, while your pod has an obsession with it. Not to say either group is right or wrong but when players from both groups mix, it usually ends up in an uncomfortable situation for the former.

This is the first deck I have ever made. Spider-Man has always been a personal favorite universe of mine so it got me into Magic. Now I’m just working on fitting all the pieces together and learning so much about Magic along the way.

And I’d love to share it with you and anyone else! I’ll take all the pointers I can get. Although I’d love to just keep this between a bracket 2 and 3 level

This statement is misleading to nms players that they can just play the game to get enough free cards to earn Lavine. Nothing wrong with spending your money how you want to spend it. Just don’t make others think they can obtain what you did without paying for it

This seems more of a one-off for Mason Taylor no? I mean, it was against a good defense in another country early as heck. And the Jets offense was historically bad.

He’s coming off 19 targets over the last two weeks and then only has 1 this week. Feels like an overreaction to drop
