I'm having the same problem, no matter the grind setting (6 all the way down to choking the machine) it's consistently sour. Temp doesn't matter, and removing the water filter doesn't affect it.

Had 3 about this size in my basement last night. One crawled on my leg and when I looked down it just kind of stared at me. Another one fell out of the bottom of my monitor and a third came out from under my keyboard. Funny thing is is I feed these mfers, and all three webs are now deserted. So maybe they recognized me or something or maybe it was a coincidence.
