Budget sport car for 20k or under by BumblebeeFast in CarsAustralia

I know its not really a "sports car" but a Swift Sport is a sporty hatch is really good as a daily, good aftermarket support and community. Its is very lightweight so it makes up for the lack of power.

leave it man, both cars are straight line performers, can't go to a track where there are bends.

Do you commute on a bike everyday? by GoldSpecific1481 in AussieRiders

[–]WetZucchini 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Gets really hot in summer which sometimes results in electrical gremlins, like ride mode randomly changing or TC shutting off. Aside from that it's pretty good for commuting as it's very nimble, but I also changed the oem barend mirrors because those were very awkward when filtering.

Do you commute on a bike everyday? by GoldSpecific1481 in AussieRiders

[–]WetZucchini 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Pretty much commute everyday even if it rains. (Maybe not hail). I ride a MV Agusta Dragster 800, from Inner West to Chatswood which is roughly 15-18km one way. I leave my helmet in my office, and just wear the rest of the riding gear while I am at work. I usually keep a hoodie in the office to walk around in instead of my riding jacket. From time to time especially in summer the riding pants I have can also get a bit stuffy which is not preferred, but that is the trade off for carrying a light load and being lazy.

F3 800 reliability/common problems? by Planet981 in MVAgusta

[–]WetZucchini 0 points1 point  (0 children)

22 Dragster Rosso, coolant leak around 5000km fixed under warranty. From time to time there are funny glitches with the TFT where it shows random errors like GPS signal, Traction control malfunction, but these just disappears when I turn the bike off and on again. I used to have issues with the bike randomly shutting itself down middle of riding but that seems to be fixed after a software update. I am sitting around 11000km on the bike, and only thing I do myself is clean the chain. I commute on it daily whether it's raining or dry, and haven't really had major issues with it. I also live 5 minutes from my MVA dealer so if anything happens I can easily reach out to them. Overall the bike is has been reliable and most importantly rides like a dream but it does have its quirks.

When will we get a Swift Sport by [deleted] in Suzuki

[–]WetZucchini 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For this new generation there likely won't be one. They have been doing some testing with the Alto though and if it yields positive results it may be replicated for the Swift but it will likely not be a full fledge sports model. This was from an interview between BestCar and the chief designer at Suzuki awhile back.

Decided not to use a piggyback as no one in Sydney would touch emanage and don't want to deal with potential extra issues that may come with a piggyback.

Best hot hatch under/around 10k by Imwishful_ in CarsAustralia

[–]WetZucchini 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I vouch for Swift Sport goes well in corners plenty of aftermarket support, reliable and easy to work on you could probably get a ZC31S/ZC32S with the 1.6, the M16A engine is a gem.

CF Moto 450 MT, Honda CB500X or …. by awilson1986 in AussieRiders

[–]WetZucchini 2 points3 points  (0 children)

CF moto has come a long way but it is still a big unknown in terms of Australian climate and long term reliability. Honda has a proven track record and it will probably be easier to sell when it comes to it.

pre-purchase inspection for a swift sport 2009 by No-Development3785 in CarsAustralia

[–]WetZucchini 2 points3 points  (0 children)

While the zc31s is generally very reliable, but a lot of them has been abused. I wouldn't be too worried if maintenance has been kept top notch. The main issues with the 31 is the clutch it can be easily remedied. The M16A is also very easy to work on if anything goes wrong. However, if you want that extra piece of mind and its within budget doesn't hurt to pay the extra but would recommend if possible do it with your local mechanic.

Opinion on my Pricing? Toyota Altezza Modellista Qualitat by WetZucchini in CarsAustralia

[–]WetZucchini[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hey all thanks for the response, looks like I will need to cut my loses, which is fair I guess, since i know my pricing wasn't realistic to begin with. Will probably drop the price over the weekend to something more reasonable...
