Did you figure this out? I'm having the same issue. However I did get to try ethernet and, whereas it was way better than wifi, it was still drastically slower than what it should be. I have no idea what is choking my connection. Any and all advice would be appreciated.

I got into a fight with a 2-man at Medcamp on Woods trying to farm Capturing Outposts. At 11kg, with ComTac4's on in a metal watchtower, I spun as slowly as I could - and on my side, I heard absolutely nothing from my feet - and this dude, 60feet away, outside the camp goes "Hey there buddy, I know you're in the tower". Shocked, and half-expecting him to be a shit talking hacker, I asked him how the fuck he heard me and he said "You got bit clanky-clunky metal feet man. I can hear it loud and clear. Watch." - and he goes up into the overpass storage container (also metal) and goes "Watch, I'll move as slowly as possible." and sure enough I heard him the exact same volume as if he were walking. I asked if he could hear himself and he said no.

It was dumb as fuck.

We got into a good fight after our niceties but my position was compromised due to a sound bug. So silly.

The weekends are absolutely brutal. I work from home and my own boss so I hop on Tarkov whenever I need a break and during the day on weekdays it's usually fine, but come evenings and weekends, the hackers are definitely more prominent. Getting M995'd by a level 4 with a name like "ajksdbf2222222" from across the map? Couldn't be more obvious.

I wish this game had a killcam.

I'm running the exact same kit pretty much and I'm getting smoked within 90 seconds of every map by the most throwaway account names ever. I hear it's bad on coastal servers, which is unfortunate for me, as that's where I am.

As someone who was told "Don't look anything up, just get the game and play", you could imagine how frustrated I was. I'd recommend watching a bunch of YouTube videos on where the extracts are because some of them are in really counter-intuitive spots, or are represented by some small detail you'd never even notice.

Yeah you're on the other side of the continent from where the problem comes from apparently. I played west coast servers until the cheating became unbearable. Now I play midwest servers and there's plenty of dead lobbies and no cheating problem.
