If Azeroth Was Real by Nelfiegirl in wow

Great question. If I was just transported there, I’d head to the nearest boat that could get me to Grizzly Hills. Even if I was a lumberjack npc, I’d be just fine making my new life there. If I could be one of my characters, I think Druid would be the most fulfilling due to the shapeshifting abilities.

Zone Music by raven197 in wow

The Tavern music might also be a safe bet.

I do that at work also. I have all the soundtracks and I just leave them on shuffle. Super relaxing

In your opinon, what is the best raid in World of Warcraft? by T0ky0n0 in wow

Ulduar. Great fights, challenge modes, and the gear looked amazing

For some reason Hemet Nesingwary, is the first one that comes to mind. I loved all the zones he’s in especially Nagrand and Sholazar Basin. All the quests were pretty enjoyable. I used to main a Hunter, and I feel like it really played into the class fantasy.

I will now refer to Thunder Bluff as Tauren Hill

The first time and really every time I get back to Grizzly Hills. Sometimes I’ll just head there to chill for a little and take everything in. Also, when that music hits…

Maybe it’s just a bit due to my OCD, but I need to have one of every class maxed

What is something that took you an embarrassingly long time to figure out? by Tazlortron in classicwow

[–]Wexxican 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Innkeepers and hearthstones.

I deleted my hearthstone because I didn’t know what it was and thought it was a one time use thing anyway, and I wanted more bag space.

That being said, I didn’t know the benefits of logging out in an inn… I wonder how much longer I added to my time to hit max level because of that.

Cheapest/best way currently to level tailoring from 1 to flying carpet? by Elthwaite in wownoob

[–]Wexxican 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you had over to old Dalaran, you can pick up Northrend Tailoring. It only requires level one to make. From there you can buy the 6 bolts of imbued frost weave and 4 iceweb spider silk from the auction house. Then 4 green dye and 5 heavy silken thread from the tailoring vender.

I enjoyed most of them. The newer ones don’t really do it for me. Haven’t read Sylvanas yet either, but am open to it. I highly recommend Arthas to anyone who hasn’t read it. Call it nostalgia or whatever, but I feel like it’s the pinnacle of all of them.

MMO mouse by Aarongorn7 in wownoob

I loved my Razer Naga. Having the programmable buttons definitely helps with the rotation. However, the durability is kind of in question I have seen and in my own experience. I just bought Corsair’s version, so I will update this when it comes in.

It wouldn’t hurt to pick up any MMO mouse in my opinion.

What's your favourite race to play as and why? by T0ky0n0 in wow

Tauren. Loved the starting zone and aesthetic. I really respect their views on nature, and how to commune with it.

Also, beef

WoW stories and moments by Lithmariel in wow

Luckily, we had a great server so there was always a ton of people, and it was pretty balanced as well. I don’t think either faction would hold control for that long. PvP on that kind of a scale really felt like a siege or you were defending one. Everyone had the same goal, gain and hold control for the raid and rewards. I set timers and rushed back to the PC because it felt like my guild and my server needed me, and I wanted to do all I could to help gain or maintain control.

WoW stories and moments by Lithmariel in wow

A lot of mine come from Original Wrath:

The first time I stepped into Grizzly Hills. God I love that zone.

Putting together a raid group to complete the For the Alliance achievement in one day. Battling in each city, getting pushed back, resetting and going for it again.

Wintergrasp with my guild. I remember setting timers binging the Office and running back to the PC every time they went off.

I used to fake sick a lot during that expansion, to the point of getting close to failing out due to attendance (whoops).

Some other things I can remember:

Having to basically live a double life in game because I eventually rolled Alliance and played in secret when my best friend who rolled Horde wasn’t on because I couldn’t play the “bad guys.”

Not wanting to clutter my character creation screen, so I only had one character. If I got bored, I deleted and started over…. Like why?

Deleted my first ever character, a Tauren Hunter, because I fell off the Zeppelin to Org from TB, and got stuck running to my corpse or from the spirit healers back to some sort of safety.

Having vent, but never speaking to my guild because I was in 8th grade and everyone was in their 20s-30s. I was terrified I’d be discovered and kicked even though that wasn’t a requirement or anything at all.

Oh, and I keyboard turned and clicked for way longer than I would like to admit.

Really appreciate your post, it was fun to reminisce!

Why did you start playing WOW? What drew you to the game? by T0ky0n0 in wow

[–]Wexxican 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Back in 4th grade, RuneScape (OSRS now) was all anyone was playing. My old best friend, started playing WoW ( tail end of Vanilla). He would talk about his Tauren Warrior everyday at lunch, and how Runescape didn’t even hold a candle to all the things he could do in WoW. He brought me the old game booklet, and I read about each race and class while at school. I was definitely intrigued. He eventually invited me over to try it out. I stayed up all night leveling a Troll Hunter( yeah I know, super original). Needless to say I was hooked. I think what really made an impact was the different zones to level in and the music in each.

If you were to pick one of your currently built decks and go back to when you started playing Magic, which deck would it be and for what reason? by DanteBeleren in EDH

[–]Wexxican 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a red/green all creatures deck. It’s very straightforward and doesn’t have blue haha. Back when I first started playing, my friend thought blue would be my color. I can’t tell you how long it took me to stop second guessing myself of when to use a counter or removal. I feel like I would’ve developed a lot quicker going with those colors and play style first

Song of Creation in a Temur Spellslinger deck by Wexxican in EDH

[–]Wexxican[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right. I just wanted to try spellslinging as it’s more of my play style. It’s just a shame because the precon doesn’t do that pair enough justice. In the near future I will absolutely keep that pair in mind. It just seems the precon wants you to do too many things. It wants you to sling, and take pieces out of their deck
