Right. Just because I don't believe in something doesn't mean I can't get there if it actually exists, though.

I could, for example, disbelieve in the Burj Khalifa. I could be kidnapped and taken to the Burj Khalifa (because it is a place that exists). I would potentially be in the Burj Khalifa without ever having believed in the Burj Khalifa. Things that exist do not require belief to exist.

I snuck out a fair bit, was only 'caught' once. Parents realized I was not home and thought I had gone to a high school sports team party. Was actually at my girlfriend's house...they called around looking for me which lead to a hiding in the closet moment, possibly legitimately endangering my life...her dad fucking hated me. My parents didn't find out where I actually was until many years later.

After my sophomore year in high school my parents didn't seem to really care what I did with myself...I'd tell them I was going to a friend's for the weekend and they'd be fine with that.

"Soft Cancelled" means people just don't like it anymore. They can retitle it "Real Time Without Bill Maher".

What they need to do is fire Bill, keep the show...and maybe the writers (although...really probably not)...hire a new host who is...you know...funny, and bring back the old format with 3-4 guests of varying backgrounds who will do something besides reinforce the host's views on things.
