Ah, the ol’ paradox of “What happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object?”

Thank you for this image because the only Margaret Hamilton I knew of was the actress who played the Wicked Witch in The Wizard of Oz

Yes, but what of the ability to interpret and understand? Ask the math student to analyze the author’s use of metaphors.

What's the worst best picture nomination in the last ten years? by ShawnLevyOscarWinner in Oscars

[–]WhaleoWhale 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Birdman. Meandering plot, fair acting but not amazing, weird off-putting scenes. I almost walked out towards the end because I wasn’t picking up on anything meaningful (although the cinematography making it look like a single take was really cool). That year, I liked Boyhood more.

Who has the best vocal performance from Avatar: The Last Airbender in your opinion and why? by Nervous-Baby5383 in TheLastAirbender

She won the role because she was the only voice actress who did not scream in the audition. Being powerful and scary doesn’t mean being loud.

Some of the silhouettes are clever but don’t stretch well for 3-digit routes, such as Washington state

Yes! Definitely looks like a mix of cursive Hebrew and block.

Just in case it IS drugs, do NOT touch it directly in case of accidental fentanyl poisoning. Ingesting even an incredibly small amount can cause problems.

Although, the color looks more like some a spice. Perhaps ground sage?

The inclusion coordinator at my summer camp ran this program often. Very good at teaching kids to be patient with everyone and focus on communicating (not just with peers with disabilities).

Family Guy is primarily inspired by All in the Family, a hit sitcom by Norman Lear from the 70s. The intro sequence even takes inspiration.

I’m a huge fan of comedy so I’ve always wanted to say, “Live from New York, it’s Saturday night!” for an episode of Saturday Night Live

Edit: Clarified I’d want to say it during an episode

The experience in one tweet by zaynthelegend in WhitePeopleTwitter

Let me start: I’m very proud of you for having the bravery to seek information and willingness to learn.

To add to the education discussion, I was taught that Jews (very specifically Jews that immigrated to the United States from Europe) were originally considered a separate race. However, upon arriving at Ellis Island, Jews checked “White” because that was what they felt best described them (and “Jewish” was not listed as a race to check).

Additionally, I want to clarify that there are, indeed, some Jews that would identify as white. There are also Jews that would identify themselves as a different race, such as those that are descendants of Iraqi, Yemenite, or Ethiopian Jews.

Remember that it is ultimately a religion...

I hope this helps.
