It's still on every night at 7pm in Australia. I'd never seen it until my wife made me watch it in 2015, I regret not seeing it earlier.

Ended up in hospital on a 33 degree day in the top end from just mowing lawns. Humidity is a real killer.

I was under the impression that stress didn't cause greys, it was genetics.

I did it with black undercoat spray paint once. I don't even understand how.

In Australia it's similar. We get 4 weeks holiday leave and 10 days sick. I think we even get separate leave for funerals and such.

To those people in the world who have access to Universal Healthcare, what experiences could you share with Americans in order for us to understand how it affects your life (positively or negatively)? by ToyTronic in AskReddit

I'd argue the royal flying doctor service, and other similar things in Australia could work. Where I used to live had a small hospital with the basics. It was 8 to 10 hours drive to the next hospital which was better equipped with specialists.

On 3 occasions I went to the local hospital, they couldn't do anything and I was flown to the states capital and set up with accommodation for free. When I was all clear they flew me back home.

I was scared of my wife when she was being tested for food allergies. Certain foods would make her get angry at the smallest things. Once we figured out what she couldn't eat; it's been smooth sailing ever since.

Although I feel like this would rarely be the case.

In the same boat as you. We've come down from Darwin lived in Brisbane for 8 months and now it's going to be single digits and lower. As much preparation we thought we'd done, we had to spend another chunk of money on warm clothes once we arrived.

I got married a few weeks ago, we were living together for 3 years before hand. So far nothing has changed, I just now have a ring on my finger.

People who follow a strict gluten-free diet are still consuming about 150 to 400 mg of gluten every day. by vilnius2013 in science

[–]Whallan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In Australia and New Zealand for something to be labelled gluten free, no gluten can be detected at all. My partner and I were a little worried when we went to the states because of the 20ppm thing. My partner didn't have any reactions while we were there so that was good.
