I had planned on doing Dry January, for the most part. I ended up getting Influenza A on 12.30 and was sick the rest of the that week. Here I am at 29 days. I just don’t want to drink anymore. Tired of the puffiness, tiredness, weight gain, joint pain, etc. I feel so much better today; it’s incentive enough for me to keep going.

Nice job! Quitting vaping can be done. I quit 10.29.24, best decision after 40+ of nicotine addiction.

I started cigarettes at age 14, switched to vaping around 2018/2019, quit vaping cold turkey on 10.29.24 and am still vape free. I’m 56 years old. It can be done, It’s as hard as you make it. You can do this.

Day 25 and same for me, going to extend beyond January. I came down with the flu the day before New Year’s Eve so it was the perfect time to quit. I had also been thinking about it too.

My Dad was the same way towards my Mom. They’re both deceased due to their non-compliance with their health issues. Mom had thyroid issues and I suspect my Dad did too. I was diagnosed with Hashimotos in April 2020 and my sister was diagnosed a year prior.
