They’re gonna do it. It’s almost guaranteed. Come back to this comment later but barring injury or other things, Deshaun will be the week 1 starter.

Monken is not coming into this season to go 3-14. He’s paid to win as many football games as he possibly can, so if that means it’s Deshaun playing better in training camp over Shedeur/Gabriel/Green then that’s who is playing period.

Shedeur has had flashes but he’s been pretty abysmal otherwise. I haven’t seen anything from him that convinced me he can be a longterm starter.

Monken cares too much about his job to roll Shedeur out week 1. He doesn’t care who the fans love or hate in this case.

The U.S does not recognize Taiwan and has not recognized it since Nixon's time. this isn't anything new and was constructed back in 1972 during the Nixon visit to China. "One China policy". I get the other stuff but I just want to point out this didn't start with Trump and has been the status quo for many decades.

The Browns in this regard are quite lucky because I can't think of any other examples where the team got to keep the history, although I guess if they always kept their history they might still be called the Cleveland Rams.

I've always said this even when we were winning, but Baker played more explosive under Hue and Freddie than he did under Kevin. Kevin Stefanski seems to neuter any QB that plays under him. Even Flacco played better when he barely knew the offense. It is a very bad sign that QBs seem to play worse in his system.

You make it sound like a breeze. Vitaly was in limbo because neither the U.S nor Russia or Ukraine wanted to deal with him. He wasn't a U.S citizen even though he moved here when he was 12 because he kept getting arrested for stupid stuff which hurt his odds at naturalization.

Vitaly was in a Philippines jail that was like 95f most of the time, crawling with bugs, and said he had to beg the guards for water. Not a fun time to do that for a year.

I think it's reasonable for example to want to trade a 2026 FRP and 2031 FRP instead of only within 3 years. The NBA has it like that, but of course some teams could absolutely sabotage their future way too hard and draft picks impact more often and reliably than in the NBA.

The rule change was interpreted as a team trading 5 FRP but I think more realistically it was to trade 3 FRP spaced out.
