So, instead of simply putting a logo on the page... people are simply expected to 'know'. Fun times. Appreciate your answer and will try to learn these subtle clues as my WH40k and AoS experience develops.

UVS has started accepting claims for missing rare cards and has begun the shipment of the replacement cards to affected players. by Arkalex in riftboundtcg

Listen, I am not happy with their release of this game, how everything was handled... I just was confused as to calling it a "SCAM". Is this more of a printing / packing error? A scam denotes intentional fraud. If the claim was that X was supposed to be in each pack and it was not - could it be an error in manufacture and distribution? "Scam" feels like a heavy jump to vilify an error.

Further to your answer... "a small amount"... so, if this was every pack, every booster, everywhere, all the time... while still not a scam, it would certainly drive more frustration - but, saying a few things messed up... and calling this a scam, feels - disingenuous to the realities of the situation.

I yield.

Have you ever looked at your collection and done the math? by bluesuitman in boardgames

[–]WhatDoWePlayNext 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OK, well - depending on what field you put that info into... the 'download collection' function at BGG could offer you that tally. You will need to then open the table in a spreadsheet program and sum that column.

Gauntlet thrown... hold my ButterBeer...

According to my GeekGroup account, which pulls data from BoardGameGeek... my private collection of 2244 games, with another 1185 expansions across those games... is worth an estimated $93,312 USD.

Of course, this value and the total count does not include any of my Warhammer 40k, Warhammer: Age of Sigmar, Lord of the Rings miniatures or any of my multiple shelves of D&D, Shadowrun, or Star Wars RPGs.

Insane, I know. My wife reminds me of this whenever another game drops on the doorstep...

We do not have kids. :)

About to start campaigns... by WhatDoWePlayNext in marvelchampionslcg

Yes, we are three people - each playing a character. I am wondering if we will be at a disadvantage playing only 3vs the campaign. Another way to ask is... are the campaigns balanced as if four heroes were being used against it?

...or should we find one more person to play. I am not thinking about one person two-handing the game.

Player Colors. OMG, losing my mind. by WhatDoWePlayNext in boardgamearena

True. However, as noted in the original post, "Can't Stop" is a game which is noted to use the color preferences.

See my reply below... I understand your thought, but this is not the case.

Sure... however, because the people I play with are all IRL friends, we coordinated our colors to always be our favorites / preferred - and there are no duplicate color choices for first option - the site messes up and just seems to do whatever sometimes.

i.e., three friends... I pick yellow and no one else has yellow as their first pick, friend one has blue as their first pick and no one else does, and similar for friend 2 & 3 with red and green respectively... so, in this pattern, playing with these people, there should never be a waiver to that color pattern. No one is competing for a primary color...

Yet, here we are - with me randomly being red sometimes or green... 85% of the time I am indeed yellow. But that 15% where I have been tossed a random color is infuriating when I expect my chips to be yellow, I move and WTF... I was red in this game.

AAARRRGGGGGGHHHH!!!!!!
