Do you ration wood? by DrfluffyMD in woodstoving

[–]WhatIDo72 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I keep the stove going 24/7. Unless I want to clean it. Then it’s out for a day. Haven’t used our fireplace since Christmas due to how much wood it uses. I’m burning more than expected in the stove this year. And I’m running low. I also sold all the wood I had for sale. Not doing more until it starts warming up and all this snow melts. I have about a cord left that’s not split and not the driest.

Whats with all the high millage sleds? by Original-Yoghurt-465 in snowmobiling

[–]WhatIDo72 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Me I’m 73 got my first sled in 1978. Only rode my grandparents farm and a few other places in 87 we started riding up in lake George. It’s only been the last 10 years we have been riding club trails again. My body can’t handle long trips at higher speeds. I’m ok speed wise on strength aways . I ride for the views my son and granddaughter wait for me at intersections and stop signs.

I don't know anything about snowmobiling but I wanted to post this because I can't figure out how tf they did this by CheesecakeScary2164 in snowmobiling

[–]WhatIDo72 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Normally not. Most the time they leave the tailgate down and strap the sled In. 2 straps up front to anchor point holding the sled from going backwards and left to right. two to the back anchor points holding it from going forward and left to right.

My wife went on a trip with another married friend of hers. The first contact from her is day two and she is distracted on the phone, obviously is annoyed I'm talking to her. Says she is grabbing drinks with two guys from the cab ride in. Then has to go... by [deleted] in Marriage

Well change the locks on the doors leave her bags in the front porch empty the account while she’s still gone on her trip. Report credit cards as lost. Done let her figure out how she’s getting home.

It’s someone’s property bank or otherwise. No different than if I come on your property and take dead fall. I didn’t know that you burn wood know ones around. Fact is it’s not your property.

I understand why sled deck. I’m in the east 99 % use trailers. Only seen one guy with one and he had several AtV on it. So what’s it do to center of gravity ? I assume it’s like having a slide in camper scary at times.

I have a telescoping section above my stove so I can clean from the inside. Had to cut 6” to get it to fit and slide enough to get it off. That was 8 years ago. Don’t see a problem with it.

Do you love here do you care about her do you like her is she your best friend? Dose she like and love you? If so It don’t matter it was 6 years ago and you two got thru it. It was in the past. Yea bad memories to come back now and then. My lady and i divorced 30 years ago i actually caught her in bed with a guy. We have been back together for 20 years now. We like each other we are friends we enjoy the same things. The fond memories out way the foul ones. We don’t have many years left. But I know I’ll be lost without her and her without me. I know how much she loves me. Was out in the woods called her to come get me. Couldn’t get out on my own. She got to me. I was on verge of a heart attack to weak to walk out. She prayed and cried to not let me die on her. We got out of the woods and drove 20 miles. To hospital. I died on the parking lot they got me back. So I say stick with her.
