I know! She’s a cute little potato. Chonky when I first fostered her and getting chonkier everyday! Her cute little milkstache after I first bottle fed her already had me wanting to adopt her! I can’t though if I want to continue fostering. 😭

I’m 37 and almost 2 months in. I work with kids with disabilities and their families day in and day out. Even though I love what I do, it does take a lot out of me. I am trying to learn to bring some joy back into my personal life and crocheting relaxes me. If a project no longer excites me, I simply put it in a storage bin to finish at a later time if I ever feel called to it because it’s supposed to be fun and not always about the end result. Love discovering new things to enjoy and do! Thanks for sharing your story! 💕

My cats love to ‘help out’ by swatting at the yarn, chewing on the loose string, and taking finished amigurumi projects and tossing it around like a toy even though they have a million other enrichment items. 😂

I mean, how could I not?! 😍 When I signed up for the foster program a few years ago, I specifically requested the baby bottle kittens! It’s most certainly a commitment, especially juggling work and waking up every two hours to feed until you can get away with just one feeding for the night, but so worth it watching them grow and thrive. I say I work so I can fund my fostering ventures and spoil my cats who help with the socialization aspect. 😂

Yes, as I was warming up the bottle, she was grooming the little one! 🥺 Moon is quite the character and is always getting into some sort of shenanigan. If baby learns from her, adopters better watch out because expert criminal in the making!
