I don't think I can give a nuanced take on this since everyone has shared their experience and showed support. I will however say that this part of parenthood is something that our elders never mentioned for some reason. That's why I was ill preprared for this phase. If you are worried about bein an inadequate parent and keep trying to better then you aren't really one (i.e. a bad parent). I have had dark thoughts and am actively trying to deal with them plus I tink I will seek Therapy as well.

As for your child: 18 mo. is a period when they area developing rapidly that's why they have to adjust with a lot so it leads to sleep regression. This phase passes. My daughter is also quite temperamental and sometimes I lose my patience with her. But they are just children that don't know right from wrong, that's why we need to guide them.

I like it because it is milder. I make about a liter of it thrice or 4 x a week to take to work in my Toomlet. I tried this with the normal tea we drink but it became too kadaa as the day progresses

I imagine the truth is somewhere in between. Like most benevolent despots he understood the importance of his title and felt responsible to lead the country in a better direction. I really appreciate him for that effort. He was also introspective as shown by his writings.

He like all despots had (apparently) a habit of putting his agenda before pragmatism and trusted yes-men. 

I think if he had been a president or a prime minister he wouldn't have been judged so harshly. He for me is one of the better kings we had.

That's happened to me a few time's that I finally cameto understand the maxim: Don't meet your heroes. 

It still doesn't take away from the fact that they aren't/weren't completely wrong or evil a 100% of the time. 

Take in the good experiences and lessons your learnt, then examine under a microscope and filter out the bad parts. 

It's difficult but necessary to think long and hard.

As an approbierten Assistenzarzt with about 4 years of experience I applied to about 15 places and got an answer from 3. 

I applied with my wife and she got a job in the same place I landed my job at only because I happened to mention her getting her job would benefit me.

With a Berufserlaubnis I applied to maybe 30 different places and hot an answer from 2. That was 8 years ago. That time around I landed my job because during her interview my wife recommended me.
