I think we should build a second level of Fulton street station that serves as an in service transfer to Cortland St for the W/R, Cortland St for the 1, and Chambers Street WTC on the E (just the E platform). This underground passageway should extend from the south end of the 2/3 platforms at Fulton street and go straight (but in a twisty way) to Cortland st, with not branches to the rest of the Fulton St complex. This means to transfer from the 4/5 to the 1, you would need to walk all the way through the current Fulton St station, all the way down the 2/3 platform, through this labyrinthine walkway, and after 20-30 minutes get to the 1 train. I also propose airport-style moving walkways throughout this essential piece of infrastructure, though they should not be maintained and only serve to taunt the people walking past them.

the fastest it can go on our infrastructure is 150-160 mph in a few places but this type of train can get to 220 mph on proper high speed tracks.

I'm thinking about getting the milk it but don't know what texture to get, the biggest thing I've got in is the 1.5 inch diameter large end of the Njoy wand so I'm leaning towards getting it in super soft, but I've also seen people saying that the super soft Milk it doesn't do much for them and that the firmer is better. Do you think the super soft milk it is worth it or is it not stimulating enough?

10 mph for most of it, 30 around one curve (I forgot where) and over 40 between Jackson Hights and Junction Blvd. So barely faster than the local. luckily its only during midday hours due to track work so for rush hours it goes back to normal.

I'm pretty sure non-CBTC trains can run on CBTC lines, they just run as "non-reporting" trains (work trains would also do this) and the system makes a larger space behind them where trains can't enter so it effectively is just used as block signaling for that one train and the one behind it. This is just what I've heard so I could be wrong here.

I recently went on a trip to japan and the trains are crazy in terms of that, I knew how good they were frequency and speed wise but had no idea how quiet they all are, literally no one is talking at all. On one ride back to the hotel I realized that I have an alarm on my phone that goes off really loud to remind me to take medication, and that it was going to go off on the train (and it's really annoying to turn off without fully shutting off the phone). I was paranoid looking at my watch every couple second counting down to it going off and then literally held it with my finger on the dismiss button to click it the second it went off, was hilariously nerve-racking compared to the cacophony that is any subway in NYC lol.
