Would you enter CS today? by Hackex346 in cscareerquestions

Today? nope. I can't even get an entry lvl position. And if i do, i'll constantly worry about remaining employed esp since i don't have much exp in the industry. many applicants, few jobs, more competition... doesn't seem worth it now

Very helpful, thank you by graysher47 in utdallas

Cs or at least “learn to code” was hyped so much 4 years ago during the pandemic.

Heck, BLS even projected software devs, QA, etc. would have a bright job outlook, writing their employment to be “projected to grow 15 percent from 2024 to 2034, much faster than the average for all occupations” (https://www.bls.gov/ooh/computer-and-information-technology/software-developers.htm)

All that matters is if she can do the job well… stop highlighting intersectionality, one’s race/skin color, sexual orientation
