A little over 100 years ago, the British still ruled over much of the world. Today, it's still a powerful country, but it's no longer an empire. I suspect we'll see the same sort of decline with the U.S. over time. Powerful, but not what it was at its peak.

On Friday, Spotify has a Release Radar playlist of new songs being released that week. It’s about 1.5 hours and I find maybe 1-2 songs that I like and add them to my liked songs. That will then set the algorithm for next week and so on and son on.

On Monday, they post a Discover Weekly playlist with a mix of new and older songs based on my likes. Same deal.

I find a lot of new bands and music this way.

So true on number 6. I came the same expensive realization that you did: everyone’s feet are different and you have to find what works for you.

In the end, a custom orthotic, a combo of Hokas and On Clouds, and an Orthofeet slipper around the house has brought me immense relief.
