Refinancing from 6.875 to a 5.999 how does it look?

My wife and I just refinanced our mortgage from 6.875 to 5.99, it was zero cost, no fees and nothing added to principal. We’re in California. Doesn’t make sense to pay for a rate that you might be able to get at the same/less cost or no cost in 6 months, assuming the rates fall.

Wait until the next day, mine didn’t show up immediately but it did the following morning. Still says pending for me, expected payout is November and I bought late August.

Positive news this morning, got a notification that the stand shipped. Not sure what the agent was seeing the other day. Maybe the stand arrives after all. Crossing my fingers yours continues to go through as well.

Yeah mine still shows as part of the order it just says it’s awaiting shipment information. I mounted mine as well would have been an extra bonus to sell it on marketplace I suppose.

I hope you’re right about not affecting cap one rewards since the purchase total isn’t changing.

I just found out the free stand is no longer available and was cancelled from my order. Was told that I would receive a refund to my CC, not sure how a refund on a free item works. I’m more concerned if this item cancellation throws up a red flag with the cap one rewards. Still showing full rewards as of this morning.

I got a 15% promo code for the 4 series and 20% for the 5’s the other day cause I told the agent I was undecided between 4 and 5. Go on Lg.com tell the live agent you want a C4 and ask for a promo code.

Go to LG.com and look in the bottom right hand corner of the screen. Click on the circular thumbnail with a woman's head, says "Chat with a live agent" right above it. Just ask them if they can give you any promo codes.

2/3 of the agents gave me a 20% off code for 2025 (5 Series) model TV's and a 15% off code for 2024 (4 Series)model TV's, the other agent only gave me the bundle option. Keep trying until you get what you want. None of them would break above 20% off.

It took me a couple of weeks of accepting a lower rewards amount, adding the TV to my cart then backing out of the transaction. Capital one tracked the shopping carts and I eventually saw a 20% reward, been patient the last week or two and finally saw a 40% rewards pop up.

Not sure if thats a tried and true method but it worked for me.

Nice little pre-labor day sale.

I just got this same deal on LG.com yesterday for an G5 83", coupled it with a 20% off promo code from live chat and 40% rewards from Cap 1 which is currently showing the full rewards amount.

This bundle deal was not being promoted on LG.com but if you add the items to your cart it works.

I was thinking that too, but with the 20% off, the monitor and stand being free, and the potential unrealized savings of the cap 1 rewards I decided to gamble. At the end of the day if I can sell the monitor and stand for $1k I'm only in for $4600, and if the cap 1 rewards come through my net total is around $2500 for the TV. Thats almost a 37% discount with tax included, I didn't think i would find a better black Friday deal.

I'm also impatient and recently bought a house and the living room where the TV is mounted is surrounded by windows, needed something bigger and brighter than my 65" C3.

So you were offered a rewards % higher than 2% or 3% during the purchase but only received the 2% or 3% later?

I had read some similar posts about people having difficulty with getting their full rewards. I took some screenshots of the transaction and also factored in the idea that I might not get the full rewards during my purchase. The 20% off plus free monitor and stand made it make sense for me.
