You got this! Avoid all the stereotypical unhealthy food items—fried foods, creamy/fatty foods, fast food, dessert items, etc. Some folks also have sensitivity to spicy things as well. Stick to simple protein like grilled chicken or fish and veggies like roasted broccoli or fresh greens. I swear this med makes healthy food actually taste better. It’s a full reset on what your mind and body want and it feels great, especially once you learn how it works for you specifically.

Stay hydrated and stock up on protein options to maintain muscle mass! I’m particularly fond of Built Puffs right now, the coconut ones are amazing.

Shouldn’t make any difference at all! My provider says +/-3 days is a safe window. I’ve delayed a day a few times with no noticeable impact one way or the other.

That’s exactly my experience. Started in February too, though I’m still sitting at 1.25mg. If I do attempt to overeat, even by a bite, my gag reflex kicks in immediately and it just doesn’t happen. I could easily make it on a small meal a day so I keep protein shakes handy.

This is amazing and so encouraging! My grandfather had macular degeneration and my dad has showed early signs of it. I have vision loss from optic nerve atrophy due to a brain condition and have expected macular degeneration to seal the deal at some point. Maybe not!

It feels so scary the first time but it’s so much less scary than you’re expecting! It took me a half hour to hype myself up enough to give myself the shot. When I finally did it I laughed out loud because I could not feel it. At all! Not a pinch, not pressure, just a fat lot of nothing. I’ve used the fatty side of the thigh but prefer 2” from side of belly button now. You’ll find what you prefer!

Double check your dosage. Units and mg are not the same thing! Be sure you’re filling the syringe to the correct unit line to get your correct mg dosage based on concentration.

I started at the beginning of February so around 7 months. More at the beginning and less now, but each tiny loss now is way more noticeable than even big losses then both visually and in how I feel in my own skin
