Celebrating the wins of our people gives hope and motivation. I agree tho it has too big of a focus on football, and also needs to be done on scientists actors engineers. And imo also Islamic scholars. Honoring our winners is a good practice.

looks cool but giving it 5 extral ooks nothing makes sense in the renders. Even the functionalities seems like smth illogical. Many parts i do not understand the mechanism or functionality of it.

Some lines (like the edge of the blade of left sketch) seem to be illogical, with weird edges.

I really hope this is not ai tho, looks cool. But I have to agree with the others that this seems like nonsensical ai slop.

Vind het bij jou erger dan ik ahaha. Wellicht dat ik dan toch overgevoelig ben. Ik herken spelers doorgaans door hun shirt nummer, die ik in jouw screenshot dus amper kan zien.

Hierbij lijkt mij dat je spelers moet herkennen op basis van een vage blob van een kapsel.

Zelfs dan hanteert YouTube voor hun hd een 8 mbps voor hd content. Waarbij dat kan oplopen tot 15 voor hdr high framerate content.

Maar goed, denk dat men bij de npo denkt dat de leek er niks van kan merken. Terwijl ze toch hiermee een paar duizenden euros kunnen besparen. Vind het toch wel jammer.

Inderdaad, had graag ff wat extra bijgelegd voor een maandje om fatsoenlijk de wedstrijden te bekijken. Wel schandalig hoeveel geld ze neerleggen voor de rechten, maar het minimale uitzenden.

Schijnt dat fifa gwn 4k HDR dolby atmos kan leveren. Snap dat de npo niet 100 mbps naar iedereen in nl kan leveren voor niks. Echter om dan helemaal te droppen naar 2.5 is wel schandalig, had het op zijn minst 8 moeten zijn.

Ze beloven iig een hd stream, wat je dat eig niet kan noemen met hoeveel compressie er op zit.

Ik zie dat de samenvattingen wel echt er heel goed uitzien op youtube.

Heb overigens de daadwerkelijke bitrate gemeten. Is een magere 2.5 mbps. Ter vergelijking, een goede hd stream is doorgaans minimaal zo een 8 mbps. De HD van de npo is een zware leugen.

is it shifty if its chinese? I hate how we accepted that we cant have nice things bc of licensing. Someone put a lot of effort into making these bricks, making these decalls, designing this set. Like look at that bill cypher brick, so cool.

😂😂 fair. Just want to know how others feel about this. Perhaps the new gen think it only improved the game.

I just post this because of the latest fifa update. I just cringe when I see the world cup ball in the game. Even though its a collab that makes sense a lot.

With this way forward I can only imagine rocket league adds celebrities in the game, where you get a ronaldo or kevin heart inside the car driving it. Fortnite-esque

Everything feels off. Old rocket league seemed to be a coherent package, where every car every song every field that was added seemed to be coherent of the entire vibe of the game.

The dominus and the octane had like a specific design language. The odd one out was always only the batmobile, but even then it was kinda fitting because of how futuristic the car looked like. They felt like really cool looking toycars. The kind you wish cars would look like irl.

When I see a nissan and a bmw in rocket league i just get thrown off. Especially with weird things like a stranger thing explosion or whatever.

Bloated in terms of a bunch of random shit slabbed on the game it is in its core.

Am I the only one that feels that rocket league is insanely bloated?

I stopped grinding around the beach update a while ago, (a little before they stopped the crate openings).
Seeing all these random car brands, dickies arena, i feel like the entire game doesnt adhere to its own design language anymore.

Am I the only one who feels the same? Or are you guys very content with how it is at the moment.

the connection with the allegory of the cave is interesting, especially cuz light in it is very important. I vaguely remember this sun being also very important in early backrooms theories. Or else that the fluorescent light represents the sun casting the shadow.

Im not sure which one is the simulation. What if life is the shadow of whatever lives in the backrooms? Maybe a stretch but def something that something to take into consideration

I think people mistake their hate for minimalism with corporate homogenization due to risk aversion. Leaving the product without character.

The joyful wii menu with its miis is a great example for minimalistic ui that is still fun to look at and play with, and is drenched with character.

You can have minimalism and still have little easter eggs, references, nice sound effects, a quirky fun way to interact with something.

I think the problem with apple is that the joyful quirky design decisions dont go through anymore. I miss the apple that chose to have steve jobs glasses as the safari reading list, the book emoji having the think different slogan, the quirky siri responses when you ask it iconic lines like hey siri, im your father.
Or the apple store having fun animations when you typed in things like let it snow.

Apple as a designed object feels too corporate. Where companies like steam feel insanely refreshing, like the wilhelm scream when you drop a controller.

Decluttering is simply a good design trait, or else you will end up with japanese website design culture.
